I once promised myself I'd never make an animatic or an animation because of my fear of being able to follow through and finish it. Then I watched Lifesteal World Every day for 2 weeks and when I wasn't watching it live, I was catching up with what I missed. And then it ended with a song stuck in my head and an idea that wouldn't go away, and then I had insomnia so. Next thing I know 3 weeks passed and I did it. I still don't think I'd do it again anytime soon though.
I knew if I made it too slow I would likely be able to not finish it, in hindsight I should not have fully colored everything but even in cutting my expectations down I still have that perfectionist in me lol. I still did everything I could, from using 3D models to help me visualize poses and compositions, to copy and pasting art I did before and tracing that, to planning what I needed to draw so I could just, move it in the next frame. The less I had to draw from scratch the better. All normal things I think. I normally wouldn't use so many 3D models but.
It was an interesting challenge because I forgot I have not drawn many men in my art career and I don't often draw hats or short hair, and since I drew chronologically, I feel like there is a progression of art in this.

I also tried to make it sort of ordered, the front was people who left early (except Mog I just didn't have room for him else where), the back row was for people who were not explicitly allies but would fight or protect Branzy as needed (except Pangi, he would but he's not exactly that energy I just needed to fit him somewhere), and the two masks on Ferre and Theo was a reference to post Branzy Death where they changed their skin and killed Mug_m who was the main killer of Branzy prior to the explosion. thus the Mug_m head in Ferre's hand. Honestly in Hindsight I should have included Fruitberries if only because of the PVP training, but at this point I'm too close to completion to add that in,,,,
Oh and ofc the Captain Sparkles at the end killing Branzy, as seen on Day 14 at 1:59:00
