📜 Help a lost fan find her lost fics 😭
Hi Tumblr — I’m throwing this into the void and hoping the fandom gods hear me 🕯️
There are three fanfictions I used to read (and love), but I can’t find them anymore. My heart is starting to fear they were deleted or the author’s account is gone.
If anyone remembers these existing — even a simple “yes, I’ve read that one!” — it would honestly give my soul some peace 😭💔
1. Marvel — Reader x Bucky / Zemo / Sam
It was a long, multi-chapter fanfiction that followed a Reader who used to be an Avenger but had retired. She was living a quiet life, raising her daughter — though plot twist: she hadn’t had the child, she’d created her.
The story picked up around The Falcon and The Winter Soldier timeline. Bucky, Sam, and Zemo came to Reader looking for help, and things slowly unraveled from there. Everyone thought she was Asgardian, but it turned out she was from another planet — maybe Olympus — a place tied to Greek mythology.
She lived in this incredible castle filled with mythical creatures — I remember vividly there being a dragon among them. 🐉
The author had multiple Marvel fics, all beautifully written, and this one was one of their longest. I don’t remember if it was ever finished, but it stuck with me for years.
2. Hawaii Five-0 — Reader (or OC) x Steve McGarrett
This one started with a woman escaping a kidnapping, completely losing her memory in the process. The Five-0 team found her — I think in a forest, maybe during or after a fire — and took her in.
She ended up staying with Steve McGarrett, trying to piece her life back together. There was this ache between them — she felt drawn to him but also guilty, because she could see he was married.
Over the chapters, her memories started surfacing, bit by bit… until the heartbreaking ending. If I remember correctly, there was an accident — Steve hit her with his car, and that impact somehow restored all her memories.
It was tragic, emotional, and definitely complete. I still think about it sometimes like it was a movie.
3. Harry Potter — Reader x Marauders / Golden Trio Era
This one almost feels like a dream — it’s so complex that part of me wonders if I imagined it.
It took place during the Golden Trio era, where Reader was dating one of the Weasley twins. But the twist? She wasn’t just some witch — she was actually a Marauder-era witch brought back to life.
Back in that time, she’d been with Sirius Black, but later betrayed him with Regulus. The Black family cursed her, binding her to Regulus so that when he died, she died too — I think in James Potter’s arms.
In the present, she began having painful visions and memories of Sirius, Remus, and Severus as they were in the past. It was haunting and emotional. I remember a specific moment near the end — she was ill, disoriented, and then Regulus rose from the Black Lake toward her.
It was gothic, heartbreaking, and full of that classic tragic romance energy.
