Details about Love Scout that I find interesting after the first two episodes:

The obvious female CEO/male secretary premise

The single dad apparently due to divorce (I thought maybe he was widowed, but they say this specifically)

The single dad who takes a parental leave for a whole year to help his daughter's mental health. If this is really a thing, I am amazed, but also, this leads to 4...

The father getting professionally punished for leaving the workforce as we know that women do often, maybe not so directly but I find it interesting to have him get put in that circumstance (this is before he works for her)

Female CEO is cold and perfectionist and supposedly scary, but she seems mostly grumpy and is mostly passive-aggressive toward him, but her reasoning is due to a substantive interaction they had before he works for her and I like that she has good reasons to dislike him and he understands them.

Despite being a perfectionist in her work outcome, she is a total disaster and he is brought in because of his super dad organizational skills and I find that very charming.

She is clumsy and yes I know this is an overdone charming "fault" but this lady literally hits her head on everything, can't work the door and generally is injuring herself constantly and I appreciate the level of commitment to this characterization and also that he literally baby proofs her office to keep her from injuring herself.

Male lead is super endearing as a single dad, clearly over maxed in all his responsibilities and continued in his old job where he was mistreated and now moved into this new job that he isn't particularly enthused about because it is paying him more and he can't not work since he has to feed his kid.

We get the fun classic "get the right kind of coffee by the assistant" scenes where this poor man is running around and figuring shit out and I very much rooted for him and loved the role reversal.

So yeah, this is a good start for me personally.

that scene on the balcony when she puts her hands on his waist and turns him around so he sits on the guardrail and she stands in front of him???? and she holds his face and gazes at him (once again she loves just looking at him)???? and they're basically having the eye contact equivalent of a passionate kiss and she just whispers "i'm hungry" in his ear and then gives him a cutesy kiss before staubtering off ??? that was so hot and cool but also endearing???
