“That does happen sometimes , unfortunately, hun. I’m so sorry this is happening. I’ll do whatever I can to help you through this.” Linda started stripping the sheets off of the bed and then waited outside the bathroom door to take Ava’s clothes as well. “Okay, umm give me one minute. You start your shower and I’m going to go check my purse. I ‘might’ have something for now.” She hurried to the bedroom and grabbed her suitcase. She didn’t get her period often anymore, but she hadn’t completely gone through the change either, so sometimes, she kept something in her luggage, just in case. Luckily, she found a pad buried in a back pocket. “yes!” She called out before going to the bathroom door. “Ava, I found a pad in my bag.” She called inside. “When you’re finished, I can show you what to do with it.”

Ava went into the shower and cleaned herself up but she didn't feel fully clean. When the shower was off Ava wrapped herself in a towel and cracked the bathroom door, "Okay, I'm ready for you." She called out to Linda with some apprehension in her voice. This whole experience was strange and Ava didn't like how her nerves were acting. Just a little while ago she was a child and now she was a woman? She wasn't ready for this. She let Linda explain things to her and once she got a new pair of underwear she put everything on. She got herself dressed and once she was ready she found Linda again, "I'm ready to go to the store."

Linda got everything into the laundry while she waited for Ava to finish up in the bathroom. She thought about texting Jer but then wondered if Ava would have wanted her to and ended up changing her mind. The last thing she wanted was to make her feel even more uncomfortable than she already was. "Hey, all set?" she asked her with a soft smile. "Alright, let's go." Linda grabbed her keys and headed for the door. "Are you in any pain? Do you know how to swallow a pill? I have some Tylenol and I can also grab whatever you need at the store. Don't worry, I'll take care of whatever you need, okay?"

Linda tried her very best to hide the look of fear she was struck with. Linda never had kids of her own so she was never really put in this position. But she quickly flipped into her best ‘mom’ mode that she could muster. “Okay, it’s okay sweetheart. I’ll take care of the sheets and the clothes. Why don’t you take a shower. Has anyone ever taught you anything about this? Do you know anything at all about it?” She remembered that they teach these things in school, but she also remembered that those courses were pretty useless in real life situations. “We are probably going to have to run to the store and grab some things , too.”

Ava shrugged, "I didn't think it would be all over like this. I didn't know it would run down my legs." She finally moved and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. "What do I do when I get out of the shower?" she asked Linda through the cracked bathroom door. "How can I go to the store like this?" the girl was worried that it would show through her clothes and everyone would stare at her.

Linda had all but moved into Jeremey’s place. Their relationship was taking off and it was so easy. She was building a relationship with Ava and fitting right into the household like she belonged here all along. When she woke and looked over, Jeremy was gone for the day. Even though she expected it, there was still a small hint of sadness to see the empty bed beside her. When she first woke, Linda went to check in on Ava and then went back to Jeremy’s room to take a shower. She had just finished getting dressed when she heard the young girl scream from the other room. She jumped, then sprinted down the hall. “Ava!” She screamed as she burst through the door. “What’s wrong?”

Jeremy had done his best to shelter Ava from a lot of things but since she had gone to public school she wasn't completely ignorant to certain things. She knew what was happening to her but she didn't know what to do. She stood next to her bed staring at the blood stain on her sheets and she could tell her pajama's were saturated between her legs and even part of her butt. "What do I do?" she asked almost afraid to speak or move.

Even though Jeremy had been a little apprehensive getting into a relationship again things were going very well and he felt like the universe was proving him wrong. Every time things had been going good with Kendall in the past something would happen that would pull them apart so there was a part of him that expected things to disintegrate but as he looked at her sleeping in his bed while he was getting ready to leave for some meetings and appointments he felt a sense of peace. When he was ready he kissed her forehead before leaving the bedroom. He peaked in on Ava who was also still sleeping and then he left the house. Several hours later the sun was finally up and the house was fairly quiet until Ava started screaming, "LINDA!" from her bedroom.

“Because there are so many Asian babies to choose from!” She told him with a giggle. Linda leaned in to return his kiss, glad that her and Jeremy dating was turning out to be really nice and they were falling into it easily. Almost like it was supposed to be.

He laughed off her joke, not really wanting to joke about unwanted Asian babies. Or any unwanted babies for that matter. After the kiss ended he got out of the car and took her hand to lead her to the area where they paid and picked out their balls. A few minutes later they were at the first hole. "Ladies first," he said.

“Aww what a gentleman.” Linda giggled. She placed her pink ball on the little mat and positioned herself to hit it. “Don’t laugh at me , now. I’m not the best at this.” She teased. She tapped her ball and watched it bounce off the walls and land short of the hole by about three inches. “Actually that wasn’t too bad.” She nodded and looked back at Jer. “Let’s see what you’ve got.”

Linda was feeling pretty good when the workout was over. She was actually glad that he made her get up and do it. She grabbed a small towel and wiped the sweat from her forehead and neck. “Yeah I need a good shower.” She agreed.

Jeremy led her back into the kitchen and grabbed both of them a bottle of water so they could hydrate a little. He took multiple large sips of his before putting it down and saying, "The shower in my bathroom is better. You can use mine. Ill even let you go first."

Linda took the bottle of water from him with a grin and took a few sips. “Why not just shower together to save water.” She winked playfully back at him before she turned and headed up to her room to get some clothes for her shower. She grabbed her shower bag and headed into Jeremy’s room for the master bathroom and turned the water on to warm up while she got herself ready. Linda undressed and took her hair down, fluffing it around with her hands to get that ‘pony tail’ crease out. She laid out the clothes she had on the bathroom counter and took her soap and shampoo and placed it inside the shower, then carefully stepped inside. The water felt so good on her skin after the nice workout she had. She closed her eyes and let the sound of the water falling all around her and the warmth consume her. A few moments went by and she opened her eyes, tilting her head back as she soaked her hair and there, on the ceiling of the shower was the biggest spider she had ever encountered beginning its decent down towards her. Linda screamed loudly and quickly jumped out of the shower. She jumped again when she turned to see Jeremy running into the bathroom while she stood there naked and dripping . “Giant spider!!” Was all she said and pointed back to the shower.

He laughed it off but now that she said it he couldnt get the image out of his head. Jeremy had gone upstairs and into his room to wait for Linda so he could show her how to work his shower and where things were if she needed them. He went back to his room and started getting his things together for his own shower. He wasnt sure how much time had passed but after some time he heard her scream and he ran in there, thankful neither of them had locked the door. "What's wrong?" He couldnt help but notice her body but when she pointed to the ceiling and said there was a spider he reluctantly looked away and to where she was pointing. "It's not that big," he said and grabbed some toilet paper. He had to step into the shower to reach up and grab it. He crumpled it up in the toilet paper and went to flush it down the toilet. Part of his clothes had gotten wet so he pulled his shirt off to throw on the bathroom floor for the time being. He turned around and his eyes landed on Linda again. "Maybe I should have taken that shower with you," he joked. He had never actually seen her naked but now that he had he didn't want to stop. He felt like a teenage boy who was looking at boobs for the first time in his life and just couldnt move. "Ill let you get back to your shower," he said but instead of walking to the door he walked towards her. She had been making comments since she got there the night before and he suddenly he got tired of overthinking everything. When he reached her he didn't waste any time and kissed her.

Linda was honestly too unnerved by the spider to even think about the fact she was soaking wet and completely naked. But when she caught Jeremy staring at her, she didn’t even try to cover herself up. He noticed her and that felt damn good. She had been flirtatious with him since she arrived and had thought all of her attempts had gone unnoticed or that he wasn’t interested. But when Jeremy began walking towards her, she knew this was it. “Showers still running.” She mumbled just before his lips touched hers. Letting him know the opportunity to shower with her was still on the table. His lips connected with hers and Linda immediately wrapped her arms around him, their bare skin touching for the first time ever. And everything else around her disappeared as she got lost in his kiss.

“No of course not. You definitely want to be aware of those things. But you have to also let things unfold. Be ready when she gets home to comfort her and listen to her. She is old enough now to see these things and she needs to see them.” Linda’s tone was careful and patient, she didn’t want him to think she was trying to be pushy or like she knew what he was going through. She was just trying to provide a little bit of comfort to him.

Jeremy put one of his hands on hers and smiled, "You're right, thank you for letting me talk out my thoughts. I'll check in with her later and if there's something wrong I know she'll call and we'll drop whatever we're doing to go get her." He knew that Linda would understand if Ava needed him to get her out of there. "I do hope it works out and Ava gets to enjoy being a big sister. I think it'll be good for her since im not going her a sibling."

A bright smile crossed Linda’s lips when his hand touched hers. “I hope it works out for her, too.” She told him, then let out a small laugh. “You could always adopt an Asian baby for her sibling.” She teased.

He chuckled, "Why an Asian baby?" He questioned and pulled into the parking lot for the miniature gulf course. He pulled into a parking spot and once the car was safely in park he leaned over to kiss her.
