They did offer me an ensemble role in their musical but honestly I dont think I can learn that show in 5 weeks :(

i am so confused by a scene in this play because my character is asked 'hows my wife and kids' and my character is like 'she's doing well' and then on the next page im like 'your whole family was killed <3'????? Like why did he lie???

ok i think hes trying to save face and its really come across like "you're wife and kids? uhm they're........ well." because he also says they are at peace which makes sense but uh i think this particular line is weird on paper and it might get cut if i cant act the shit out of it

#thats always the challenge with stuff is that if something doesnt make sense you have to make it make sense #least favorite thing to see in classical theatre is when someone says something and they dont know what that means.

augh why is there so much misogyny in this book written by a woman ;o;

#and its not violent rampant misogyny but WHY do you keep calling women you dont like ugly and stuff #it was written in 2003 so my expectations are not that high but like this author has been decent with women in the past #one of the pov characters is interesting tho.... she should be nonbinary (never describes themselves as a girl or talks abt feminine stuff #AND prefers to go by a masculine name)#i wasn't even sure about the gender of the character until like a third of the way through when the other pov character meets her #and like it wouldnt be so bad if there was also disdain for certain men for being ugly and antagonistic or whatever. but only women are ugl #apparently in this book :(#maybe im also just too feminist for stuff like this... gotta read some authors who are like studied on feminist literature and stuff #actually one of my to read books this summer is a piece of feminist nonfiction so maybe ill read that

these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.

final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍
