One of the villains I loved in @atopfourthwall was The King of Worms. Even though I feel like he should of had more screentime, I gotta love its sheer unerving presense to it. An outer god who wears a mask to hide its face after feeling fear, and seeks to master it itself. And the tales about its abilities and deeds add a level of mystery and menace to it. Also it’s ability to take control of mechanical beings and even create electronic doppelgangers of people after brainwashing them by a platinum mask makes him a very threatening force. Also it is rather cunning, trying to trick Linkara into falling for his plans, and taking away his allies without him knowing. Linkara had made such a memorable and intimidating villain that I just had to draw him. Though it was a lot harder then expected, since he himself didn’t have much screentime and a lot of his appearance, especially his gauntlets, made it difficult. But I still think I did the King justice.

Honestly @atopfourthwall has been one of my biggest inspirations. I can’t tell you I love the story arcs and the characters and how it shows that even with little budget and people that you can still make something amazing if you put the effort. In fact the Piece of The World is Missing plot-line was my favorite and was the thing that got me to watch the show. How Linkara managed to turn a glitch from a videogame into a genuinely unsettling Eldritch horror is beyond me, but it was such an amazing plot arc. I tried to put in some of the creepiness of the Entity into the drawing and just the sheer feel of uneasiness of it’s presence. Consider this a bit of a tribute to such and amazing story-line and an amazing show.
