for the people curious about the german stuff i reblogged: someone drove into the csd event in berlin. several parties in our government are going to probably use this event to spread more anti-immigration sentiments among the populace and are arguing already to push through a bunch of "safety laws" that are probably gonna cut into privacy and such. theyre also talking about more police at pride events. all of this is happening under the guise of "protecting queer people" when we all know that our current government gives 0 damns about queer people and would probably rather have us all not exist at all.

Ich hasse es so wie wir als Community immer nur relevant für die Politik sind wenn wir für deren Fremdenhass instrumentalisiert werden können. Wie sollen wir vernünftig trauern wenn man gleichzeitig weiß, dass in ein paar Wochen wahrscheinlich wieder mehr Leute abgeschoben werden um uns zu "schützen"?
