I got interested in what Sunny can do when you check on her in the pause menu, and so, after a lot of entering and exiting the menu, loading different saves from different acts and setting the system clock to different times, I made the following list:
Things Sunny will do depending on the Act:
-Reading on the bed (Act 1 and 2 only)
-practicing dance moves (Act 1 and 2 only)
-hanging from a bar above the bed (and falling down) (Act 1 and 2 only)
-fixing the Mk 3 (Act 1 and 2 only)
-playing with one of Snake’s boxes (Act 2 only)
-typing at her computer downstairs, with several variations:
—–rapidly typing (all Acts except 5)
—–slower typing with several pauses (Act 1 and 2 only)
—–typing while swinging back and forth on the chair, then suddenly getting up and running upstairs into the bathroom (Act 3 and 4 only)
-watching over Raiden (Act 3 and 4 only)
-not being in the Nomad at all (at the beginning of Act 3)
-noticing that Raiden is gone and searching the Nomad for him (Act 4, during Snake’s fight with Vamp)
-standing at the kitchen counter, looking scared (Act 5 only)
-sleeping on the box she stands on during cooking (Act 5 only, during the night)
Some things will only get triggered if your PS3′s internal clock is set to a certain time:
-At 6:30 am, Sunny will fall out of her hammock and walk towards the bathroom.
-At 7:00 am, she will collect eggs from her chickens and start cooking them
-She will also be cooking eggs at noon and around 6:30 pm
-A few minutes later, Sunny will finish cooking and start to eat
-At around 3 pm, she will get a popsicle out of the freezer and go downstairs with it (I guess this is only during summer because I’ve never seen her do that during winter).
-At 9:30 pm, she will go to bed during the first two acts.
-After 1 am, she will start falling asleep on her computer during Act 3 and 4. She will be asleep by 2 am.
-On the 25th of December, there will be a Christmas tree in the cargo hold
-On the 31st of October, there will be a pumpkin in the cargo hold
-On the 5th of July, Sunny will have a birthday cake on the table upstairs
-The later it gets in the evening in the first two Acts, the higher the chance that Sunny will sit in a corner and don’t do anything else (she’s probably worried about Snake being out on a mission that late). She also does this after she discovers that Raiden is gone in Act 4.
-Also, if you play that J-Pop song on your iPod, Sunny will dance to it.
