It shouldn’t be a question of “Either Or”, but can’t we all live together?

Leonardo da Vinci was the epitome of the Renaissance man. He was centuries ahead of his time in a multitude of different disciplines-Art, Engineering, Automotive and Military device Design, designer of a Flying Machine, parachute, diving suit, and many other things. It pays to have respect for people and civilizations that preceded us, and displayed brilliance of thought or creativity. Their creations have formed who we are, and stood the test of time. Learn something from it.

Isn’t a President supposed to be accountable?

I look at the present situation, with the voted out President not willing, through delusion or prison escape measures, to concede he lost to the President-elect, and wonder why his party leaders don’t show concern for their country and shut him up. I wonder why Twitter doesn’t shut down his account, when all he’s spewing are lies and non-existing fraud and conspiracies that are tearing our country apart, and making it very vulnerable. The hate spewer is an insect as far as humanity is concerned. He, his family, and all his allies in government have no redeeming qualities. He is being enabled to throw a tantrum, by the equivalent of a “pathetically weak and irresponsible parent” in the form of the GOP. 

The members that survived their reelection should realize they’re traitors. They’re sacrificing the good of America for their own benefit. The majority of the voting public has realized this, and elected a new President fair and square, and ridiculous law suits notwithstanding, are really annoying the majority of the American voters. Nobody is above the law, period. Whatever brains the Trumpublican allies in DC and their extreme supporters are thinking with, need to be shaken out of their “cruise control”. They ARE outnumbered, in numbers and perserverence, by a “sleeping giant” who’s had enough of the foolishness. 

Tin pot dictators often fantasize about a “scorched earth policy”, but this time around, we’re talking about a very small person, with small-minded extreme supporters that are being lemmings driven off a cliff. Narcissism is not hard to detect for most, and the past non-action toward stopping a “steamroller pandemic” that was allowed its major traction to be accomplished, has been his downfall, along with his other inadequacies. His fifteen minutes should have been up long ago. Let’s hope this too-long running show gets cancelled before it’s too late for our country.

I never cease to be amazed at what our country can accomplish when we pull together. That’s why it’s so disheartening that we’re so divided, at each other’s throats, and being lied to by a certain leader of our country that everything’s just great. Society is a team effort, and it’s time that everyone was allowed to “buy in” on a fair economy, tax system, income equality, and equal justice. Our country can never reach its potential with leadership like we have in the White House and Senate, along with the environment it fosters.  Vote to put our country in the direction it was meant to go in-forward.

When you’re watching a liar spew, you’re watching a liar spew.

It’s imperative American voters look objectively at what they’re voting for in the general election, as well as every election from here on out. An informed voter is a voter that’ using their MIND to make intelligent decisions. This means not automatically believing someone that’s been proven over 15,000 times in a little over 3 years, that they’ve lied. This liar thinks Americans are a bunch of idiots. Is that how you wanted to be shown respected? I’ll take the facts, by taking the time to research reliable sources, and finding the TRUTH.

The challenge never ends. People of privilege will always try to invest as little and get as much as possible. The 1% is obsessed with money and power. This makes for a very shallow and tunnel-visioned part of our populace. When these people get in power, they do whatever they are allowed to get away with to stay in power. Selfishness doesn’t recognize the merits of rule of law, because then you’d have to exhibit fairness and justice. Narcissists like this only care about themselves, because they are shallow vessels of humanity. It doesn’t take much humanity to be greedy.

Informed Voters.

   Voting is an American right. The fact is, with rights come responsibilities. It means that as many people as possible need to take responsibility for the direction of our country and vote. Not voting, because of some excuse or another allows people of poor character, like some we have now, to not only be elected, but rig laws to stay in office.                                                                         Our country’s direction is a reason for concern lately. When you look at all the sacrifices made by soldiers, and other patriots, that wanted to protect the ideals our country was founded on. Our country has borne challenges before, but our people need to speak up in whatever way they can-voting, sending messages to the people supposedly representing us, and making it clear whose country it is.

Harry warned about it, among others, a long time ago. Politicians that are thirsty for war should fight in them, or have their children fight in them. Hear that, John Bolton?

How are you doing?

In the world today, it’s important to objectively view what’s going on. We’ve been sold on a “tax gift” for big money and big business that was supposed to help the middle class on down. Big money and big business paid $91 Billion less in taxes for the first year it was in effect, while the middle class on down paid $90 billion more. This is just one example of many very dire things that have happened since the 2016 election, and even before. Get informed by other sources besides mainstream media, mostly owned by Conservative Republican allies.

The same battles keep cropping up. When are we going to move forward into the 21st Century, instead of trying to go back to the 1930′s?

“Democracy- Advanced Citizenship”(An American President)

   I used this paraphrased quote from the movie, because it relates. I’ve observed a certain supposed leader of our country and his legislative allies run roughshod over the Constitution and the less fortunate as long as I can possibly stand. I’ve commented on other social media, trying not to use rough language, and stay calm. I’ll try to do it again here. 

    When the founding fathers founded this country, it was a radical, even liberal (Gasp!) social experiment. Even though it had been influenced by thoughts from people in other countries, it evolved into something exclusively American. Allowing everyone in a country to have a say in how the country was run had never been done to the extent we did.

    The last two years especially, our country has become unrecognizable. Where is the progression away from bigotry, injustice, even diseases that vaccinations had conquered decades before now? A small group, comparatively, have had their extreme ideologies amplified due to a media that gravitated to the controversial and sleazy.  Money, or the love of it, has taken over.

    “Wealthy welfare” has become the norm, where the majority in our country, which is the middle class on down, is being fleeced, so the well-to-do can have all the benefits and none of the headaches. The majority is getting SQUEEZED. The wealthy are getting their way, at the expense of disabled veterans and children, senior citizens, and basically the former American way of life.

    The evolution of our country has been for the reason of improving our way of life for everyone, not just a small percentage. Veterans, and all Americans before believed in the American dream. I don’t like what we have become, because it’s not what we’re supposedly looking like or acting like. I’m hoping we realize that very soon.

It’s amazing what the creative mind can come up with sometimes. May the human creative mind be only used for good, and not greed.
