Frank “Good Boy” Langdon, who helped so many people move in college and med school because it’s such a sure-fire way to increase your friendship level, who loves to feel useful and needs to be needed… who now can’t even pick up his son without hurting himself.
ok NEW TAKE: ruben symbolically married niall at the wedding
wore the traditional black of a groom
nodded yes at the altar while locking eyes with niall
said his vows at the reception
murder-fucked niall to consumate the marriage
death parted them but briefly
If you actually read the article sepideh, isa, and supriya were nothing but complimentary and greateful towards the show and the writing for tackling issues like misogyny and racism and the way those can subtly manifest in the workplace. People are just intent on stirring up drama and reading between nonexistent lines to fuel their addiction to outrage and conspiracies. It’s frankly boring and annoying. Im sure Supriya isn’t happy about being written out and I don’t blame her. And her and Isa are close friends so I’m sure she’s upset as well. Sepideh also seems close to them both. But this is also just a reality of the industry. Characters are written out of shows all the time. It really isn’t that deep, and I am saying this as a brown and queer woman of color. If all these chronically online white people on twitter/reddit/tumblr invested half their performative outrage into actually getting involved in their communities to support women of color in the arts, if they actually joined and supported organizations fighting for increased inclusivity in television and film, then maybe The Pitt wouldn’t be one of the only prestige shows on air right now with an incredibly diverse cast and crew.
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🌈
Don't even joke lad. don't even,
the pitt casting call like: you have to be drop dead gorgeous to the point where it's not even fair
june 1st in the pitt santos says langdon is homophobic if he’s mean to her this month langdon hits her with the right back atcha and she’s like what? he tells her he’s bisexual and santos spends the rest of the shift trying to prove that he’s lying for clout. langdon shows her a picture of him doing body shots off of a twink and she’s like. okay well you could just be an alcoholic that doesn’t mean you actually fuck men. it comes to a head when garcia gets tired of their shit and shows santos a picture of langdon in med school making out with his frat boy situationship (they both later married women and the guy tries to deny that he was ever gay despite frequently telling langdon he’s a better fuck than his current wife) and santos is like. fine okay whatever faggot
mckay she’s been good 💔
no offense, but if the pitt was noah wyle's personal pet project designed to aggrandize him and paint him in the best possible light and make his character look awesome and badass and sexy....... have you considered that maybe they would try to make robby more likeable? like, how did you watch fifteen episodes of robby unraveling and lashing out at beloved characters and making obviously poor decisions and your single takeaway was "noah wyle is so vain and wants everyone to love his character" 😭😭😭😭😭
the most self-aggrandizing, vain thing noah wyle did was make robby have a romantic past with the supermodel that is heather collins
this is such a fantastic and reassuring response
Patrick Ball attends the 3rd Annual Gotham Television Awards at Cipriani Wall Street on June 1st, 2026, in New York City
Truly every day I am haunted by that one line from Langdon during the S1 confrontation about him stealing drugs. “You teased me, remember?” I want to know what exactly Robby teased him about. Was it him being a literal doctor and still being too cheap to hire movers? Was it him being an in-shape marathon runner who still managed to hurt himself by moving too fast? Or was it him being too unmanly, too weak, to handle moving a few boxes and pieces of furniture?
Did they laugh it off together? Did Langdon feel that bite in the pit of his stomach, that burn of shame, knowing that he’d revealed a vulnerability to his mentor and had been mocked because of it? Langdon learned in that moment that his pain is something to be joked about, not worthy of concern, and that he could never come to Robby with something like that again.
Every day I am haunted. “You could have come to me.” But he had. Before he was ever prescribed a single pill, he had come to him. He had come to the man whose opinion he cared more about than almost any other man on the planet, legitimately believing even then that he was Robby’s best friend. He had brought something out—an admission of pain, of weakness, something often difficult for men to bring up to their friends in the first place—and Robby punted it away with a smile. Taught him that as his golden boy, perfection was expected from him. Taught him to keep everything that followed inside so that he wasn’t teased again.
So much could have been changed if Robby hadn’t teased him. If the unspoken rules around masculine friendships had been different. I would chew glass if it would give me the specifics of how that exact conversation went down.
Criminal that we never got a scene where Dean is sleeping and Cas tenderly lays his trenchcoat over him to keep him warm
Justin McElroy talking about accessibility in live theatre (June 9, 2019)
“Art is happening everywhere all of the time” but an awful lot of it seems to only ever happen in New York and London, doesn’t it?
Dean: I know. You didn’t, you didn’t think of it like that. ⤷ oblivious younger sibling Sam + not thinking before he speaks. 1.02 | 1.18 | 5.16

on top of everything people online are so incredibly disillusioned about the pitt. "does noah wyle really think people want more of robby's mental health journey, btw which he created just to fuel his ego"
uuh but... people genuinely do want that? season 2 has 98% on RT with 85% popcornmeter. it's popular prestige tv! critical acclaim, season 2 averaging 15 million views per episode!
also noah wyle isn't the creator nor is he in charge
the real question here is "does scott gemmill really think people want to see more of the central storyline set around the main character of his critically acclaimed television series watched by millions?"
and guys it's ground-breaking, but the answer might be... yes!
