Iāll be making a bigger post about everyone soon just... I wanna think about terry.
It HURTS to know about Terryās past. It hurts because we know he grew up shitty, we know what his siblings are like. We know that. He could have gotten out, he could have ended up with the love of his life and he could have been amazing. He was a normal person once and he was driving away from his family. He was doing it! He could have been like Mickey and he could have gotten out of the Milkovich ways. But he didnāt.
It hurts to know what could have been. So many things would be different but the milkovich ways just werenāt able to leave him.
Iām imagining the little milkovich boys giggling, jumping over furniture, running away from a knife. Terry not doing it in malice because the boys would know what angry terry is like. Mickey catching the knife and terry would beam at him all proud. Mickey would be shocked at first but then see Terryās face and he made him proud. Terry would pat him on the back and mickey would smile all big and blood would be running down his hand but thatās okay because Terry was proud of him.
Mickey realizing that his dad was once not an abuser, that heās capable of feeling love.
Iāve seen a lot of people hate the Rachel storyline but I personally like it. Itās shitty but we also should remember that terry is a person who does things out of malice or anger. He was angry, and he didnāt raise his nieces and nephews they had to have learned it from somewhere and Terry didnāt teach all his siblings racism, his anger fueled that long line of racism and he just decided to give up. Itās gives us an insight that terry wasnāt always an abuser, that once he was a decent person but he failed. It gives us an insight that Mickey did the same thing Terry did but won.
I wouldnāt be surprised if Terryās parents hated Jewish people, I wouldnāt be surprised if they didnāt want him and Rachel together, but he didnāt listen, just like Mickey didnāt listen.
Maybe Iām projecting my own headcanons about terry into this but I feel like the Rachel storyline shows us just how alike terry and mickey are and just how much better Mickey is and how Mickey did it. He got out and thatās amazing.
Debbie had a problem with Sandy and her not wanting to be a mom to Prince. Do you think she would have a problem with Mickey not being a father to Yevgeny if they ever remembered that kid?
I think so. In doesnāt matter how the kid is conceived to her, it just matters that they left them. And in debbies mind, to her it would look like he left the kid. I wouldnāt be surprised if Mickey or Ian had made a comment supporting sandyās decision that she would respond with something along the lines of āwell of course you would agree Mickey, you left a kid also.ā

Ive seen a lot of people say the woman in the picture could be Mickeys mom and I really donāt want that. Thereās no way she left her kids with Terry and got a nice as place and never called again. I donāt like that at all. And for Mickey to find out that way, noooo. I donāt like these theories. I really think it might be maybe a daughter or a sister or a mistress, but please donāt be Mickeys mom.
No because why do Lip and Tami HAVE to buy a house? They are selling a place they donāt even live in anymore to buy a house they do not need. Did Lip forget two bedroom apartments exist? Why in there hell does he need to buy a house when he and Tami can rent an apartment till they are able to buy?

Liam: I think this was an interesting storyline for him. He deserves the iPad. Heās a good kid. Thereās really nothing I can say for him besides Iām proud. I loved the Ian and Liam bond and it must be scary for hun to see Frank go through this. For as long as heās been alive heās known Frank has his in and out indestructible alcoholic father and now heās... not. Now heās finally failing and that isnāt something Liam was ever used to growing up.
Carl: I think his story was actually nice! Heās finally learning that family comes first. He crashed a Ferrari and risked his job for family and thereās not much more I can say. I think his was fine and it wasnāt overly interesting but it was a nice story for him. Heās naive but he wouldnāt give up family for some douchebags and thatās what matters.
Debbie: what was the point of that omg. Why would they make a lesbian comfortable with her sexuality have sex with a gay man. There was no point to that entire thing. She was very immature this episode and was very annoying. Her abandonment issues are valid but they donāt give her free will to act like this. I honestly canāt blame her for saying what she said to sandy. Her entire story this episode was weird and there was no point in making her fuck a married gay man AS A LESBIAN.
Ian and Mickey/Terry: putting the three of them together because... well ya know. Mickey has such a big heart I love him so much. Even after everything he cares about everyone whoās hurt him and it HURTS. The comment about āyou could have been a good son if you werenāt gay,ā and the āwell you could have been a good dad...ā I cried. I didnāt want to say it but I think Terry regrets it. Not because heās a good person but because heās on his death bed. He knows he fucked up and he knows that because of what he is as a person no one wants to help him. No one but his gay son. Noels acting was amazing in this episode and I love that he expressed so much emotion with just his eyes. The Ian and Mickey scenes were really cute and they are a couple, they tease each other and joke about growing old. Ian hit Mickey with the money and they are just domestic little assholes. Mickeys face when he sees Terry dead... he was so worried and he just wanted to make sure he was okay, then he finds him dead. I will talk about his death in another portion.
Lip/Brad/Tami: Iām glad they didnāt give Mickey up but Tami was so annoying sorry š. Girl moved some boxes and suddenly thinks sheās some crime god. No babe you just developed some common fucking sense. Talking about killing brad? Chill tf out. They are giving us things to make us like her (those who donāt) but itās just making it worse. I donāt have much to say but sheās just annoying.
Kev and V: YES! They got married im so happy for them. I wish we could have seen it though. I really do. Veronica looked amazing though! Kev kinda looked like a pimp š
Frank: this hits close to home. Ive grown up with parents very similar to Frank and Monica. Her funeral hit close to home and Frank is making me think of my own dad. Itās hard to see Frank fail and forget things. When they found out about the dementia it was so emotional for me. Theres not much I can say because Iām still processing it.
Terry pt.2: his death was so... unfulfilling. Making a nun kill him. It just, it was disappointing and happened so quick. I think they should have made him gain enough momentum to tip his wheelchair over and kill himself. I think it would have been so much more fulfilling.
This was a filler episode and theres not much more I can say. It was boring but there was some good plot points in there. I think it will be very cool to see how the other episodes build off of it. Itās not my favorite but itās definitely not my least favorite. I would prob rate it maybe a 4-6/10.
Lip Gallagher did do a lot of stuff for them and I wish we would stop erasing it.
It may not seem like it but Fiona had the choice. She chose to be there for them because she didnāt want to abandon them. She was 9 when Frank left and I think that would have made Lip 5 and Ian 4.
From 9 years old she had to step up but so did Lip. There was no way at 9 years old she could have taken care of both of them. Lip had to step up so that Fiona could focus on Ian.
They were partners in this and people need to stop ignoring that. Yes Fiona didnāt have a childhood, she threw hers away, but Lip never had one to begin with. He had to grow up and be Fionas partner in this because they had to survive.
LIP HELPED RAISE THEM ALSO. He may not have done it as much as Fiona but he still did it. He was always there when Fiona wasnāt. Every.single.time
He was their second parental figure and people need to stop erasing it

āIan fell first but Mickey harder,ā is such a Ian anti insult. At first it meant something but now it has been watered down to āians a shitty person,ā and I would like to talk about that.
Ian fell first. He did. That part is true. When people say Mickey fell harder they act as though Ian doesnāt love Mickey. They love each other the same amount they just feel love very differently.
Mickey is the type of person to fall in love once and never again and Ian is the type of person to be able to date other people and love them and that is OK.
The statement āMickeyā fell harder shouldnāt be used as an insult to say Ian doenst love Mickey enough, it should be used to describe how Mickey feels love. Mickey loves deep and he always has. He also only loves a handful of people while Ian feels love in a way that allows him to love multiple.
Mickey fell harder because of the way he feels love which is deep and under the skin and he can only fall in love once. It does not mean Ian loves him any less or that he loves Ian more. They love eachother the same amount and people need to stop using that statement as an insult.
