hi!! so one of my recent posts didn’t seem to land too well, honestly i am not sure why. i got accused of capitalist propaganda which.. was very much not my intention. i really don’t think mentioning things that you can buy is any type of propaganda, my account is not a propaganda account, it was a lighthearted post that i was not expecting anyone to read that deeply into. the post was not an insult to anyone, i do not understand why it offended anyone, i created it to spread positivity for liking stereotypical teen girl things. a lot of girls, specifically quite a few years ago but sometimes even now, like to brag about how they are not like other girls and how that in some way makes them superior to other girls, which isn’t the case. people can like what they want to like but putting down people for liking certain things is shitty and i stand by that statement. and i’m not just blaming the women for this either, men too will say things like “oh you’re not like other girls🥺” which is just something that does not sit right with me, i don’t see anything wrong with being like “other” girls. i apologize to anyone who i may have offended, and despite not getting why people were upset, it’s of course not my intention to upset anyone regardless, so if you were in any way hurt or affected by my post, i’m sorry.
