Incase anyone is wondering why it takes me so long to do icons :

I generally only make icons when I want to use that particular character for a faceclaim when I rp. That’s it.

How do you make your icons because I really want to start making my own soon but don't know where to start.

What I do is download/save all the pages of the character I want to make icons out of, open them in Paint tool SAI, and then change the canvas size to 100x100 an using ‘transform layer’ to fit the parts w/the character into the 100x100 frame. And, if I do any effects or editing, I use photoshop.
