Re- installed this app only to say one thing - larries are the worst when it comes to treating louis as a human being with feelings, treating him with minimum respect. They have no empathy for him. A few thoughts after attending the Oakland show. I was following a group of young girls out of the venue, and they were giddy with excitement after the show and a couple of their comments are sticking with me. Girl #1 – “Oh my God, that was Harry level good. So much fun!!” Girl #2 – “Maybe better than Harry. Louis was amazing!” That’s the target demographic and it hit me harder than ever before why Sony/Azoff/Styles never wanted Harry to compete with Louis on a level playing field. Louis has incredible talent and showmanship, same as Harry. I saw Harry’s first tour and Niall’s too. And they were good, but Louis has something neither of them have and it’s hard to beat. He’s so relatable and has a wonderful ability to connect with an audience. I think those girls were surprised with how they felt connected with Louis tonight. The other thing might be an unpopular opinion, but the Princess Park line hit me not as a signifier of an old romance but more about just how far Louis has come since those early days with his talent, ability to command the stage, vulnerability and energy of his songwriting. I hope Louies reclaim it for him and revel in just how far He has come--a sold out world tour that’s winning fans over at every stop.

I also think that Louis is formidable on stage, and this was a big reason why his career has been manipulated and delayed. His solo success coming out with Just Hold On was unexpected. In simple terms, Louis connects with his audience. He makes us feel human, understood, seen and heard.

I would say that this is rare for a celebrity of his fame. The usual inclination is to withdraw from fans. Louis is special.
