I was talking to my friend about how through the course of Ninjago, Jay went from being kinda smoozy in season one to in the wildbrain era being like an uwu boy, which was like the reverse of Zane who started out very demure but as they made him a robot, he lost more of those traits. And then my friend was like “Oh so like Jay became more mother” and I was like “no mother is different” and I used Cole as a character who is mother but not necessarily demure. So I made this diagram to describe this phenomenon. Note: this is the AVERAGE demure v. mother levels throughout the series and Dragons rising, and most characters shift on the spectrum of each throughout their run. This may be the dumbest thing I’ve sunk this much time into.
