So last weekend I was asked by an anon to give her examples of color and print on someone her size and color so that she could go shopping for a new job. I was glad to do it. I’m not knocking the all black, all white, oatmeal colored work clothes or anything but I think it’s important to remember as plus size girls we can wear patterns and look fabulous. And as a dark skinned women we can wear bright colors and feel good. My hair, well, that’s another matter. It’s me. It’s my style. Take it or leave it. I can be polished and still maintain my identity. I’m Candy. All the shirts were accompanied by simple black slacks, nothing special. I hope this helps you anon, and any other plus size girl who wants to explore with color and pattern in her work wardrobe and beyond.
