Deltarune Theory/ Prediction

Since all the dark worlds so far could be seen as each having a theme of escapism (board games/ toys, the internet, television, religion), I believe if chapter 5 were to take place in Flower King, it's theme would be nostalgia or smth like that. It's very clear that Asgore is at least somewhat stuck in the past, with him believing he could win back Toriel despite her outright refusal, so we could possibly see the Dreemurr family dynamic before whatever happened. Now this was all setup to my true theory/prediction, I believe, whether as a reoccurring NPC, mini boss or a secret boss, we'll see a young Kris and see how THEY act without a soul. :)

Deltarune chapter 5 spoilers

I feel like I can say that this was mostly right. Aqua, while not being exactly what I imagined, does act like how we were told young Kris acted like and with all the references to Chapter 1 and Undertale, it does feel "nostalgic".

Do ya have Odysseus' Grandfather?

I have all 3!

Top left is Aeolus (not the wind god!), father of Sisyphus, who is sometimes the father of Odysseus after sleeping with Anticlea as recompense for Autolycus stealing his cattle.

Speak of whom, Autolycus! Father of Anticlea, mother of Odysseus. Son of Hermes who has a half brother who's the son of Apollo. Fun fact, this Autolycus might have been the one to teach Heracles how to wrestle

Finally, Arcesius, father of Laertes. Son of Zeus and Euryodeia or Cephalus and either Procris or a bear. Zeus made his line one of "only sons" (each of his descendants would have only one son). I based him off of a painting I saw of Odysseus and Nausicaa.

I've been so busy recently with school and stuff. Today I just took an AP Computer Science exam and hopefully I get a five 🤞

So here's Telemachus and Nausicaa, one of my favourite ships with like barely any mythological backing... I've been wanting to draw them together for a while. It's so sad how Nausicaa barely shows up in modern adaptations, she's like one of my favourite characters.

EPIC IS GETTING AN ANIMATED FILM.

I was so worried it was going to be live action because the story would not be able to be portrayed well unless it has an absurd budget.

Hopefully they keep most of the cast, the only cast changes I want to see is a separate actor for Polyphemus and more actors for the crew. It's going to be better than Nolan's Odyssey.

Ok but I want ppl to understand how absurd it is that religious Greek heroes are rewritten to hate the gods whether it’s in Hollywood movies or retellings.

So imagine this: imagine if someone made a retelling based on Abrahamic religion and they write important figures like Abraham, Lot or Moses as hating god and rebelling against him bc of the hardships they suffered. Sounds absurd doesn’t it? Now apply that to Greek mythology. Why would Perseus, Achilles, Theseus or Odysseus reject the gods?
