RIP Lilly Bug ❤️

My Mum called the other day to say that we sadly lost our little Lilly Bug. She was with my parents as she was put to sleep, as comfortable and as loved as possible.

I like to think that now she’s crossed the Rainbow Bridge, she has all the pine cones in the world to play with, and is with our pets and loved ones that we have lost.

I made the framed photo for my parents as a little memorial to put near Lilly’s ashes. The photo on the right is the first one I did, but I thought it could be more colourful since she lit up a room.

THEY WORKED!! 😆

The process:

Bend the edges of metal bottle caps in with pliers

Add layers of nail polish until logo is covered + let dry

Draw design with either silver or white pen + let dry

Topcoat on the badge + let dry

Secure the pin with gorilla glue + let cure

I’m honestly so happy about these pins although some look messy, since I’ve been wanting to make something cool for a while!!

Edit: accidentally added the wrong pic for the result lol. This is the result pic ^

I’ve been bored, so I took some bottle caps I had saved and attempted to make pins out of them!

Some have gone cloudy but others have turned out alright :)
