furthermore once u stick the landing on the whole "being yourself" thing people respect you a great deal for it. not to mention of course how they then realize its possible for themselves, now that they have it tangible in front of them. it can happen here
lesbians making out video but with reduced music so u can hear them making out sloppy style. happy pride! 🏳️🌈🔊

I finally caught my Gold Neons and Threadfin Rainbows shoaling together!! They only do this sometimes, usually right before their dinnertime, and it's really cute because it's kind of unusual for two species to shoal together, especially ones that are such different colors and sizes <3

I've lately come to view western Buddhism as an escapist phenomenon. You're basically saying, "Yeah, all this stuff we've got going on in the western world is just too confusing for me, so I'm gonna give up and roleplay as something that I'm not to feel a little peace."
from HuffPost article The Sugarcoated Language Of White Fragility by Anna Kegler, directly translating Dr. Robin DiAngelo’s article White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard to Talk to White People About Racism into a table format
I’m so worried that the United States will launch a decapitation strike very soon against the Cuban government. What with the recent DOJ plans to indict Raul Castro. It could turn out even worse than the attack on Venezuela earlier this year.
Solidarity to the Cuban people. Their ability to resist and build is so admirable.
The blockade affects all spheres of national life. It will go down in history as one of the most immoral actions that one nation has undertaken against another, this time in a sustained manner for more than a half-century, harassing millions of people who were not even born when the events used as pretexts occurred. That the Cuban people have known how to resist and emerge victorious from this challenge will also go down in history…
Why do they keep it, then? … The real reason is not to be found in the past but in the future. It does not lie in our social system's weaknesses but in its virtues. The U.S. blockade seeks to prevent the unfolding of the enormous possibilities of developing the economy, culture, and social life under socialism. Deep down, they compliment us by keeping the blockade, although they will never admit it. They know, or at least intuit, the potential of socialism. A country that makes its material wealth grow based on the education and spiritual wealth of its people and on the equity that derives from social ownership of the means of production and distributive justice would be too clear evidence that the solutions to the problems facing humanity today are not on the path of capitalism nor in the subordination to the interests of the developed capitalist countries. Thus, they need to show that our system "does not work," hence the blockade.

black and brown bloggers will describe a racist phenomenon in a slightly jesting way and white people will very openly flock to the notes proudly saying “i do that!!! xD”. No shame at all. Appalling, really
It’s really a white pathology thing isn’t it? White people don’t get checked on their racism, but when they do, they see it as a personal attack. The lack of self awareness.
dont make me tap the charlotte zhang
hihi white people im gonna be the fucking Angry Brown Girl about it because i dont have the energy to be nice:
stop fucking asking people of colour to tell you when you are being racist. Because, chances are, they wont, because they feel unsafe or because they already deal with so much shit and dont have the energy to educate you on top of that. Libraries are free, Libby is free, if you're a white person reading this post on tumblr dot com using the internet then googling "how to be anti-racist" is FREE. If you care and you want to do better then you need to fucking put in the work. Im not going to do it all for you. There are books, podcasts, videos, zines, comics, every type of media you can think of about anti-racism. You only need to seek it out.
(also this goes for every other form of marginalization too. Don't expect oppressed people to patiently lay out every little microaggression and perpetuation of that oppression for you because we live with that every day. I live in my disabled body every day. I live in my queer and trans and neurodivergent bodymind every day. I experience this shit every day. I claw at the dirt every day just to live here, I don't have the time, energy, or patience to be your tour guide.)

These are the scenes the Israeli government is trying to prevent from spreading. They are paying hundreds of millions to journalists and news agencies to keep these horrific and appalling images from the Gaza Strip from being broadcast. The entire Gaza Strip has been annihilated. We are suffering genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Every day there are martyrs here in Gaza. Every day there are shells, bombs, gunfire, and injuries. Every day one or two people die from Israeli bombs. The war hasn't ended; the war continues, but slowly. We are dying slowly.
With the ongoing siege and the prevention of medicine, food, and potable water from entering, we are suffering greatly. My father has cancer and is suffering terribly from the disease. He needs surgeries and medication. Please help us and donate.
In addition to cancer, my father has recently been diagnosed with hardening of the main arteries of his heart and needs angioplasty and stenting surgery. However, there are no surgeries available here in Gaza. My father could die at any moment. Please donate and help us. Please donate.
please help nader and his father!
