“–Yeah, and I don’t care for most of them,” Sam stately bluntly, walking up the steps that lead to the basement. “Most of them are corrupt and abuse the power they have.”
Unfortunately for the gem, Sam was not going to be easy to convince.
“–Also, how is going to a stable planet, killing their leader, telling them your demands, causing civil war, and making intentional enemies going to make you a heroic conqueror? If you ask me, that sounds like tyranny and messing with people’s lives.” He gave a soft sigh.
“–Sorry, I’m not the kind of person to do any of those things.”
“See? You hate them, I hate them, we have nigh unstoppable and unlimited power at our disposal, let’s conquer a galaxy or two. As for the heroics thing, it’s all about conquering them after the fact. See, after they get all brutal and chaotic, other people will gripe about how terrible the living rights are being violated but not doing anything about it. Then you come in, establish order, and everyone loves you. They don’t care that you started the problem. After all, this is planetary conquest 101. What do they teach you in super power school? Apparently nothing.”
“Oh! I know! Let’s blow up some stars! Just imagine what all that cosmic radiation will do! How many mutations it’ll cause! It’ll be great!”
