I keep thinking about the whole parent paul and pat thing that everyone is doing and I justā¦ reallyā¦ really like the idea that something happened to Tord. Some AU where the red army fell apart, and the powerful red leader got blasted with some kind of explosion or ray or superpower
And it left him as a tiny, memory-less toddler. Paul and Pat, who used to be his two highest officers, take this tiny child in and retire to a peaceful family life with their little Tord.
Perhaps many years later, sometime in highschool, Tord learns about the fall of the great red army in history class. The photo in the text book looks awfully familiar. When he hears the name he races home, demanding answers from his parents. They look at each other, before sitting Tord down to tell his story.
