I finally got to read this book and am pleased to report that I loved it. All thanks to the precious, wonderful human, who deserves all the good things life has to offer, @literaery-me for gifting it to me.

Summer 18 - Week 2
Also, I am on summer break and taking a summer class and I start a new job next week. But on top of this, I am trying to read 20 books (most ones that I’ve abandoned) in my 10-week summer break lol.
1. Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
2. Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman
3. The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery
4. On Immunity by Eula Biss
A long...delayed update. It’s been almost one year since I tried to keep up this lol. But here I am. I made a bookstagram (@literarylatino) and it’s going good. I talk to people, it’s nice to meet bookish people.
Also from the list above...I did finish The Soul of an Octopus. All the feels. I love animals so much lol. I haven’t gotten to On Immunity yet and it’s almost been a year #yikes
Rediscover a classic.
but that is how a tragedy like ours or king lear breaks your heart—by making you believe that the ending might still be happy, until the very last minute.

This tea is available now from my etsy store!
“Not particularly,” he said. “But you’re not very happy where you are, either.”
Some doodles in my journal, a new velvet blazer, and my much-loved copy of The Secret History. Today I finally go back to university!!
Hmmm… 💭
I suppose at one time in my life I might have had any number of stories, but now there is no other. This is the only story I will ever be able to tell.
I get to celebrate the wholesome existence of my good friend @deadpoetsmusings today because it’s her birthday! I’ve been re-reading her all time favourite book, The Secret History, the past couple of days in her honour.
