Hello, my dear!♥️ This is such an oddly specific coincidence. You won’t believe it, but I have actually been talking to someone about jewelry, and even more specifically, I once sent them my dream engagement ring. These kinds of coincidences always happen to me.🥺♥️
I do have a dream engagement ring, actually. I am a little hesitant to talk about it on here because everything I say about myself, especially things that feel original to me, gets copied by a specific person. I could still share it, but I am genuinely a little concerned about it, if that makes sense.😭 Considering that this person tends to copy not only the things I love but also the way I talk about those things and my feelings surrounding specific things, perhaps I should simply show it.
The ring I found is from an antique shop. It is a Princess Diana style antique-inspired halo ring with a central pink sapphire (this one is actually a pink padparadscha sapphire.). I prefer the pink stone to be more of a peachy pink or a warmer pink, like the one you see here, rather than a more purplish pink. I do not want it to be too deep of a pink, but also not too pale.
When I saw this ring, I genuinely fell in love because the shade of pink was absolutely perfect to me. I adore antique rings, and this one has a very Victorian-inspired style. So, this would truly be my dream engagement ring.🥺♥️
I also would not be concerned about the pink stone clashing with my clothes because my wardrobe is genuinely filled with colors such as ivory, white, burgundy, dark red, wine red (meaning different shades of red). Red actually pairs much better with pink than many people imagine, especially when it is a deeper red. I also own pastel colors, such as yellow dresses, and pink surprisingly works beautifully with yellow as well, as it does with sage green in summer.
So, it would be a ring that feels very representative of me. I did consider the same ring with a red ruby instead, but a ruby would dominate too much. A pink sapphire feels softer and would allow the ring itself to shine without overwhelming everything else, if that makes sense.
I am also much more of a silver jewelry girl, so this particular ring being platinum really appealed to me. I recently learned, because I was reading about jewelry history out of interest, that what we call white gold is actually naturally much warmer in color and is often coated with rhodium to achieve that silver-like appearance or the appearance of platinum. Platinum, meanwhile, has lost much of its value over the years compared to gold, especially as gold became significantly more expensive. So, I would probably choose a platinum ring myself, if that makes sense.
Now I have said and shown everything, and if my stalker wants to copy my engagement ring as well, then I suppose it will happen. There is unfortunately not much I can do about it because I have realised that even if I became engaged and genuinely wore this exact type of ring, anyone who wanted to copy it could simply do so the moment they saw it on my finger. (I genuinely hate unoriginal people.)
Perhaps I should worry less about it. They should worry about their lack of originality instead, right? They are pathetic, and I am the original. End of the story.😭

In our girl group, we actually have not talked about engagement rings specifically, but we have talked about wedding dresses instead. I found it so fascinating how every single person’s personality was reflected in their choice of dress. It was almost obvious, and it was genuinely crazy how perfectly everything matched.
One friend’s wedding dress in particular is engraved into my brain because, in my mind, her image and the dress have become one. She is a very girly girl who loves baby pink, glitter, and everything sparkly. However, she is more of a mainstream pink-loving girl rather than a preppy one, if that makes sense. Her dress was literally a full glitter dress, completely covered in sequins and fitted to her body, with a detachable, fluffier skirt that created a more voluminous silhouette. Although the fitted dress underneath could still be seen from the front, if that makes sense. I hope I explained it properly, but it was genuinely so her.
When I showed my friends my wedding dress, they immediately said, “Yes, this dress is so you.” They described it as old-world but still princess-like. That was when I realised how perfectly aligned wedding dresses can be with someone’s personality and identity. Everyone’s first choice was essentially themselves, but as a dress.🥺
I do not even know if I will ever get married, but if someone loves me enough to want to marry me, I would still like to keep that part of myself private until then. And even if I never get married, I think I would still keep it as something that belongs only to me.🥺♥️
