Birth of a Book
Beautiful video of traditional pre-press, offset print to produce hand-bound books.
Glen Milner produced this book-binding vignette at Smith-Settle Printers in Leeds, England as the binders bound Suzanne St Albansâ Mango and Mimosa.

My post apocalyptic fantasy.
Human Instincts: Fight or Flight, infant suckling, jerking during the sensation of falling, etc.
Not Human Instincts: Following a woman for 7 blocks because you like the size of her body parts.
6 cups of coffee, and a full pot of tea today, and hello there 3am! I remember your face fondly, but this isn't about wants and needs, this is a foolish drunk call.
I'm so suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to go purchase an enormous LEGO set, and spend the day ignoring all responsibilities, and pumping my body full of nostalgia.
What's your all time favorite movie?
Rather difficult to say, but based on the fact that I rewatch The Lord of the Rings, in sequence, about every three months or so, I would say that's a fair guess.
Curating a tumblr feels rather like playing the Sims. It's enjoyable to create, Â build, and customize, but then you grow tired and leave it alone, and then it burns the house down making a salad.
Every creator painfully experiences the chasm between his inner vision and its ultimate expression. The chasm is never completely bridged. We all have the conviction, perhaps illusory, that we have much more to say than appears on the paper.

Books, always.

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE AWAY FROM HOME!?
I guess I'll be putting a bit more use into this thing.
Presently
This is a time in our lives when we have to constantly ask ourselves important questions. How much chocolate should I eat today? How much coffee is too much coffee? Would I prefer caffeine, or being comfortable? Do I really feel like being a good person today?
This remains true

Altruism can be simply defined as:
âz = (1/w)*cov(wâ±,zâ±) + (1/w)*E(wâ±âzâ±)
Wait! I forgot how to screenshot!
It has been a little less than a year now, since I was bullied into creating a Snapchat. At first, I was much the same as all the naysayers were; thinking it to be a silly app, the only purpose of which is to send stupid faces to each other.
I have come to realize that I was terribly wrong.
We live in an age of constant media exposure. This exposure has led to a curious culture of complete vanity. We take hundreds of useless pictures of ourselves, or our friends, or our pets, separated from the moment we would be living by a couple inches of glass and aluminum. We take those hundreds of "moments" that we have saved forever, dump them into a hard drive, and probably never actually look at them ever again except to brag about all the fun stuff you used to do, even though you can't remember it because you were taking the pictures.
This is where I have found Snapchat to differ slightly. While Facebook, and Google+, and Twitter are stuffed with an eternal collection of moments, placed there in our own strange vanity, Snapchat remains fleeting. The important point is that when you share a moment with Snapchat, it is still a moment.Â
Snapchat is rather like sharing the little moments in your life with your friends when they can't actually be with you. It is indeed texting with pictures, but that just adds to the togetherness of it all.
Now it is indeed possible to turn it into something poisonous. Sending ten-trillion Snapchats is going to probably annoy the hell out of the people on your list, but you're also missing the point.
Snapchat is not about sharing every waking breath of your life, it's just to bring your friends with you for a glimpse.
