hey greer! any idea what beast that is? i've never seen a cat that looks like that before! her markings are so cool!

she's a seal lynx point (classic tabby variant), like the cat below! it's a beautiful colour

basically, this is siamese pointing + classic tabby patterning. the pointing gene makes it so the the strongest colour expresses on the coldest parts of the cat (face, feet, tail, etc), and on the rest of the body, you get this washed out half-expression of colour

Those are calves! So yes, they are small. Calves will often lick or suck on random soft things as a nursing behaviour, like how little kids will suck on their thumbs. They'll do it to each others' ears and, apparently, to this cat.

The cat seems to be interpreting this as a grooming behaviour, so everybody's being friends but in different ways.
