when I first discovered the term TERF, people made them out to be these horrible, evil, transphobic feminists who just wanted to kill trans women.

For a while, that’s what I saw it as: transphobic feminists.

But then I started going through their blogs, through the terf and radfem tag, and I realized something: the side that was going on about how terrible and disgusting and discriminatory terfs were was usually much worse than the women they were attacking.

threats of violence, rape, forcing to be centered in reproductive rights (even though they don’t have a uterus), calling lesbians ‘gynophiles’ and ‘vagina fetishists’, the cotton ceiling bullshit, equating womanhood to femininity, etc etc. I realized just how violently homophobic they were.

But they’re just… blind to it. They keep acting as if it’s ‘terfs’ who kill trans women for seemingly no reason. They act as if it’s ‘terfs’ who go on about wanting to murder and rape trans women. They act as if it’s ‘terfs’ who doxx trans women. They act as if trans women are just innocent little angels and terfs are disgusting menaces.

Don’t take my word for it. Spend five minutes in the terf/radfem tag, and any popular radfem/’terf’ blog, and any ‘anti-terf’ blog. You’ll see the truth handed to you on a silver platter about these ‘trans activists’.

This is an actual plot point in the book though as I recall, he doesn’t like hunting adults usually because hes a) a cowardly parasite and b) Children have very tangible fears that can be easily manifested physically while adults generally have quite abstract or conceptual fears about the future, or events, or feelings.
