I really hope he doesn't have any sort of custody of their kid anymore!!! Really both of them should just lose custody but I wouldn't want a 7 or 8 yr old to be put into foster care. But goddamn, Amanda is absolutely the enabler for Neil and she put these women in danger.
Yeah I haven't seen enough people talk about the kid. He is absolutely being exposed to wildly inappropriate things, being groomed. I hope they get that kid as far away from Neil as possible (and ideally Amanda too) and into therapy. Not safe or normal or healthy. I'm worried for him. The women Gaiman abused are absolutely victims, but so is his son.
I’m not sure if I’ve said this here yet so I just want to say that I absolutely do not support Neil Gaiman any longer. There will be no defending Neil Gaiman on this blog. There should be no coming back from his actions and I hope he never gets hired or has a successful show again.

As soon as the allegations against Gaiman were made, I immediately began getting rid of his works. As someone who admired his works from childhood (starting with Coraline, reading the novel after seeing the film), and used his works to heal from childhood bullying and CSA, my heart goes out to every single woman he abused, financially manipulated, and raped. How could someone abuse their child's nanny-- WHILE IN FRONT and in the PRESENCE of said child? When Scarlett informed that his son was picking up on degrading her, calling her "slave" because Gaiman did it--- my heart broke even more. What also disgusted me was how Amanda Palmer refused to comfort Scarlett or notify the cops on her abuse, while also branding herself as a "feminist." I just hope every woman he hurt is safe and has justice. I hope his son is in a safe environment, and I want both Palmer and Gaiman to rot.
i can't get over Amanda Palmer's complicity and how nonchalantly she admitted to the victims' faces that she knew her husband was a rapist before leaving them alone with him. like i was a fan of Gaiman for years and so of course i knew of her, and i always felt her whole "im a punk rock feminist icon" schtick was annoying and performative but she seemed harmless. i never could've imagined she would be this fucking awful. get the kid out of there bc neither one of them should have custody
oh and btw, it's fuck neil gaiman till the end times. and fuck amanda palmer too.
to brand yourself as a feminist, as this tender writer, and then assault women in some of the most vile and disgusting ways i have ever heard of... not to mention being A WOMAN, KNOWING your husband has priors of this nature, and you willingly bring in new girls and then manipulate them to take hush money... If you have ever been a parent or caregiver to a young child, sit the fuck down before you read the new Neil Gaiman accusations.
For anyone left trying to defend NG in the context of BDSM or “but but he’s not been convicted” this is it. This is (probably, I’m speculating) the reason the powers-that-be stepped in and started hacking up projects tied to NG. Anyone familiar with industry knows that when significant scandals break—lawyers for big companies will do their own internal investigation that (rarely) makes it to the public. These internal investigations have the advantage of mandatory cooperation from the subject thanks to solid contracts. The firms want to know what else /could/ come out so that they can weigh the risk. NG would have been forced to share with them the fuller details (Even in the absence of his cooperation they have great investigators in their Rolodex.)
