WTH?: On February 10th 1976, Sesame Street aired an episode where Margaret Hamilton reprised her role as the Wicked Witch of the West alongside Oscar the Grouch. But after numerous complaints by parents the episode had to be pulled off the air. The irate moms and dads claimed that their children were terrified by Hamilton’s appearance as the witch. The Children’s Television Workshop made the decision to never to air the episode again.
