We all get scared.
We are all afraid of something, you canāt sit there and tell me that youāre not afraid of anything because frankly you would be lying. We all have a fear if it may be of an object, person, thing or something like a feeling we all have āem. Maybe thatās one of the reasons we arenāt so different at all, you and I. Iām affraid of rejection, Iām afraid that one day Iāll be alone. I am afraid that after all the fighting we do to get to where we want to be wont me enough for me to achieve something. I am not afraid of oblivion because I believe one day, no matter how far away, we will all be dead. That there will be no one, No one left to remember anything let alone me. That day will come it may be tomorrow or in a year or long after Iām dead but it will come. Iām scared of the dark, whatās in the dark. Sleeping is hard to do when Iām alone because Iām afraid, but then again I canāt sleep without my door being shut. The creaking of the wind slightly opening and closing it makes the dark more alarming, like someone is re. Iām afraid of what I canāt see. What I canāt touch. Iām afraid of a lot. But if I may, what are you afraid of? Most importantly, are you afraid of love or not being loved back? Why is love apparently so hard to understand, love isnāt meant to hurt. Love is meant to stop the fears, obviously not completely because nothing can really do that.
Thunderstorms, we all know those people that are afraid of Thunderstorms. The loud noises make them jump and you just want to hug them and hold them, keep them safe even if you canāt stop whatās happening outside while the sky is covered in dark blues and vibrant purples that crackle through the sky, you canāt stop what theyāre afraid of. Just like you canāt stop your own fears, they will always be there. But they make it easier to deal with. Easier to stand, that person canāt take away the pain but they do put up a shield to keep you at bay. Love is meant to help the pain, it might not heal it but it sure as help shouldnāt make the pain worse. You deserve to feel loved. You deserve to get the help you need to shelter you from that Thunderstorm, to shelter you from the pain.
