“That definitely sounds like a top contender then.” she said with a grin, “Thanks for the advice, I fully plan to step right into the middle of the action here as soon as I can, and definitely sounds like it will help.”

“I’m Ethan, Ethan Sullivan, it’s nice to meet you” he said with a bright smile, “And your name?” he asked, nodding as she said she’d want to go to the bar with him for halloween. “Perfect, I’d love to have you come. The real important question is what you’re going to be for halloween, I have to make sure I have a good enough costume for this now”
Clara’s eyes flashed with recognition and she grinned, she did know that name, and she would certainly look forward to the chance to hear that voice live too. “I’m Clara Ammon, it’s very nice to meet you Ethan. I’ve heard your music before, you’re very talented.” she said with a grin before raising an eyebrow and giving him a smirk, “I think that should be a surprise, don’t you? I will warn you though, I’m very good with costumes.”

“well, you didn’t hear it from me,” ophelia starts, a glimmer of a smirk toying at her lips, “but lavo nightclub in manhattan is one of the best places to go. quite pricey, but worth it.” especially when you had daddy’s credit card.
Clara grinned, “Oh, really?” she asked, “I can handle pricey if it’s for a good time. The place is really good?” she questioned. She might not have the most legal methods of handling pricey, but it didn’t hurt anyone, so she didn’t see the problem, really.

“I’m going to have to get used to them, I keep getting invited to all of them so I should probably go” he shrugged, looking back at her. “Yeah, of course. I think I actually know one of them, there’s this bar that recently got one of my songs on their karaoke machine and my friend told me about it. I thought about going there for halloween anyway because I thought it would be funny to choose my own song for karaoke once I was drunk” he let out a laugh
Clara raised an eyebrow, “You know, I thought you looked familiar, but now I’m think I really should know your name.” she said with a small smile as he spoke, trying to figure out exactly who this was. “That sounds perfect though, you definitely have to go there and let me tag along, I want to see that!”

“Honestly..” he paused, “I’m not really used to the big, fancy parties with models and celebrities yet” he admitted, “So the most fun ones I’ve been to were before all of this when I would just go to a good party at some Manhattan bar, preferably with karaoke with friends and just get completely hammered.” he shrugged, “I don’t know though, they’re all great”
Clara laughed, “I’m not either. I mean, I’d like to be but ... I also can see how things like that could get a little stuffy.” she agreed before smiling at the man, she could definitely handle spending some time with this one. “Well, if you hear about a party like that, do you think you could pass on the news? It sounds pretty great.”

“I got invited to a few different parties, I don’t know which one would be more your speed though” he shrugged, having been invited to several parties since he had released his album and became friends with more famous artists. “A couple of rooftop parties, some more exclusive than others”
Clara grinned, “Well, exclusive sounds interesting ... but what sounds like it would be the most fun?” she questioned. If this boy had connections, that would certainly be good to explore, but right now she really just wanted to find a good party.

Julian let out a bit of a laugh at the girl’s question and shrugged. “I genuinely have no idea. I’ve lived here for like… technically… four years, now? Ish? But haven’t been conscious for two of them so this is my first Halloween in a while.” He seriously doubted that the places to go on Halloween would be the same as they would have two years prior.
Clara was suddenly much more interested in this boy, it seemed like he might have a story to rival her own. Of course, she had to stop herself from questioning him too much, she couldn’t imagine he liked telling the story any more then she did. “That sounds like an ... interesting scenario to be in. Maybe we can find something good together?” she suggested.

“I for once will be attending a college party.. Or at least I think so.” She shrugged. “There is usually a few to choose from. Depends on how.. Formal you want it I guess.”
“Oh, really? What school? Or will there be people from different ones? I’m at NYU, but I have to say it’d be nice to have the chance to meet a bunch of new people.” she said before making a face, “Halloween’s no time for anything formal though, anything with costumes?”

“Halloween is usually the best time of the year.” He told her. “I can hook you up with a few night clubs if you can’t find anything else.”
“Oh, really?” she asked with a small grin, “I’d definitely be up for some inside information on which clubs are the best either way.”

“I am not a big Halloween guy myself.” He admitted. “I used to go with my girlfriend.. There used to be some pretty messed up events around back then, that’s for sure.”
Clara made a face, “I’ve had my own experiences with drama.” she said, though it was mostly of her own making. “Hm. Hopefully I can still track down something good though. Halloween is always a good excuse for a party.”

“Oh, could I?” Chandler raised his eyebrow as she basically told him to keep her informed of parties. He wasn’t sure if she meant to come off as bossy, though, and he didn’t really care much either way. “Well, there’s the difference between us. I don’t want to meet anyone, especially not people I’ll have to see again.”
“Definitely.” she said with a teasing grin. She knew she had basically ordered him too, but she was starting to learn that with enough charm put into it, she could fairly often get away with that. “Ah, I see. We might have different party goals in that case. I didn’t really pick you for a hermit.”

“Yeah?” he smirked, raising his chin as he focused on what she was saying. “New York is alright, but I know what you mean…” He kept a pause, solely raising his hand before letting out: “Detroit.”
“Oh, Detroit! I’ve never actually been there, my parents were never much for traveling in the country. It’s much more impressive when you go outside the United States, apparently. According to them at least.” she explained with a shrug.

Verity shrugged. “Yeah, I mean you are not from around here, are you?” She asked the girl. “I am Verity, and no we haven’t.” She added.
“No, I grew up near Boston, but I plan to stay here.” she said with a grin. “It’s definitely nice to meet you, Verity.”

“I heard about a party in Upper Manhattan, but I’m always in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, so I’m probably just gonna try to find something around there.” Chandler shrugged. Luckily, he had never been that new to partying in the city. Almost immediately, he met a student at NYU who grew up in the city and showed him where to go. “Some of the touristy stuff can be kind of fun though.”
“Hm. I live in Brooklyn, but I could definitely make it to Upper Manhattan for a party.” she said as she considered the idea, “You could let me know if you find something good around here though.” she added with a grin. “And maybe sometimes, but I’m much more interested in getting to know the locals then the tourists.”

“You think I’m gonna tell you… just like that?” he asked her, though she kinda had the looks for him to give her the answer she wanted. “Where you from?”
“Well, I can be fairly persuasive when I want to be.” she said before giving a small shrug, “Massachusetts, actually. Not far from Boston, but I needed a change, and New York always felt right to me.”

Verity looked at the girl, before rolling her eyes the slightest. “Well, that all depends on who you know, if I am being honest with you.” She told her. “I know the New York elite has an underground party every year.” She shrugged.
Clara grinned, “Well, then I guess I need to start making more friends now, don’t I?” she asked. “I’m Clara, by the way, I don’t think we’ve actually met before?”

“I don’t know where the next “cool” party is but it sure as Hell won’t be hosted by me. Not again.”
“Oh, wait, was that one in August yours?” Clara asked, she had been at that party because everyone had been at that party, but she had luckily avoided getting into any trouble. “It was pretty cool at first, but I guess that ending could put most people off of hosting.”
