For the month of May I decided to make a little mini comic! Meet Mayflower, a little curious fairy on an adventure! I wanted to make a fairy comic forever and it just felt like the perfect time!

This Feybruary I decided was going to be themed around my favorite Winx designs! Enchantix was the perfect combo of classic fairy designs with personalized style to suit each character!

Every Winx series I like to start of with Musa! The color combinations of the pinks, oranges and purples come together like the perfect melody!

Flora in her gorgeous pinks and greens! There’s so much I adore about her Enchantix…the lily petal dress, the little buns on her head, the way her hair braids and curls with her signature blond and brown hair! I had a Flora Enchantix doll as a kid and she was so pretty!

I remember being a kid watching Fantasia for the first time and falling in love with the Centaur designs. I remember thinking about how I wanted to draw like that one day and how amazing it would be to make such gorgeous art like that.

This really is a love letter to what inspires me as an artist and what kind of art gives me joy to make. And if kid me could see me now I think she would be glad we still draw the things that gave us the same joy years ago!
