I just really like that, when it comes to the argument over whether ghosts are real, Ryan’s argument is Occam’s Razor — the simplest explanation is likely the correct one — spooky things happen? must be ghosts!

and Shane’s argument is that the very idea of continuing to exist forever as a ghost violates his sense of aesthetics and is therefore unacceptable —  which sounds an awful lot like a 19th-century Romantic argument

Normally, romantics argue that ghosts are real and adherents to Occam’s razor argue that they are not. So, yeah, these two weirdos went and did the opposite
