Fanfic Writer’s Appreciation Day

Because this wonderful day exits, I’ve received some seriously awesome love from some of my readers.  You guys are amazing and I love each and every one of you.

@runawayminds - Thank you so much for the fic rec and the super sweet and awesome comments you made.  I cannot even tell you how amazing it is to see people like you actually telling other people about my story and loving it (even if that is an understatement - thanks for that btw).  You made my day.

@hope-for-olicity and @imusuallyobsessed - Thank you both so much for including me on your Fanfic Writer’s Appreciation Day posts.  I love that you guys thought of me and included me on your posts for your favorite fic authors.  Thank you again!

I know how nerve-wracking and terrifying it is putting the story you wrote out there for others to read and judge and how amazing it is when people let you know how they feel about your work.  I also know (from my own experience) that the authors are fanfic junkies, too.  With that in mind, I have to lay down some serious thanks to some of my favorite authors that make my fangirl heart sing:

Holy crap, I always thought I’d be really rude to leave an overly long comment on something, or it’d just be super creepy for me to babble a load of emotional attatchment I had to their product, or all my wild fan theories which are probably wrong… I mean.. I know if I ever created something I’d wanna see comments like that, but I’m a weirdo and I haven’t even created anything anyway so what do I know? Umm.. yeah.. so… at my followers and friends and stuff: does anyone agree with this? Do I have permission to really ramble embarrassingly and honestly when I like your stuff, or would you prefer short and semi-rational comments?

I always LOVE knowing that readers understand why I chose certain ways of getting things across! I also love seeing which bits OTHER PEOPLE liked best! Since I’m the author, I’m biased. I either think my work is brilliant or I have crushing doubts.

I totally just reread all of "where there's smoak there's fire" in a day in preparation for the sequel!!! I'm so beyond excited you don't even understand. I've been wondering for ages how all the stuff with Patrick McCrane would play out! Also, maybe more Taylor and Kerri? After Felicity's welcome home party, we never saw them again.

Yay! I'm genuinely excited as well. Which is amazing, because I've really been struggling with life for the last few months and writing has been difficult. I think the sequel is the perfect opportunity to see where Taylor and Kerri are now. They definitely got a little lost in the shuffle last go-round, but I think everyone will enjoy seeing them again.
