Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong wrote this about his father, who died of cancer on September 1st, 1982. At his father’s funeral, Billie cried, ran home and locked himself in his room. When his mother got home and knocked on the door to Billie’s room, Billie simply said, “Wake me up when September ends.”

Slash heard that there was a great singer in a band called "Rose". Slash and I went to see Rose at Gazzari's. Axl and Izzy had lots of energy and a great stage presence. After the show Slash said "I would love to get Bill in my band", Axl was still going by the name Bill at the time. Slash and Axl talked and decided to try to work something out.

I could see , way across the roof, something shining in the sun, with long red hair and a skin as pale as a piece of  paper was "Bill". When I first met Axl, I didn't think much of him. He could sing but his voice wasn't unique. Axl said he had learned to sing in the choir and at that time, he only sang his stuff in a smooth baritone voice. Then a week, or so later, Izzy and I heard Axl singing "Hair Of The Dog", by Nazareth, while in the shower. Izzy and I looked at each other and said "That's it, that's the voice!" we asked to Axl if he'd consider just singing in that voice and he said "Fuck yeah!". The rest is history.

Problema TUMBLR

Smilescatcher: Hola a todos,

He cambiado el correo electrónico de mi cuenta de Tumblr, y me aparece un mensaje arriba de mi escritorio diciéndome: "Necesitamos que le des clic al enlace que te hemos enviado a tu nuevo correo electrónico para verificación". Hasta aquí genial, el problema está en que no me llega ningún jodido mensaje, y he mirado en todos los correos electrónicos que tengo, he mirado también en el "correo Basura" y tampoco sale. No puedo editar temas de mi cuenta porque me lo vuelven a pedir. Alguien sabría decirme qué hacer?
