We had a great night last Saturday taking a trip down to Lyons, Colorado to see our friends The Brothers Comatose play at Oskar Blues.  As always, they put on a fantastic show, Iâve seen âem at least half a dozen times over the past few years and itâs always great, and Iâm always excited to catch them again the next time our paths cross. Since our first meeting theyâve always welcomed us to the stage for a tune or two, and last saturday was no exception. Sharon sang their beautiful duet âMorning Timeâ and I jammed on their groovey Swamp Jam, and their version of the Stones âDead Flowersâ.  If you havenât seen The Brothers Comatose, do yourself a favor and get to a show of theirs.Â
Upcoming shows in Denver!Â

East Coast Tour
Just wanted to drop a line about how much fun we had on our trip back east. Thanks to everyone who supported us with your hospitality and generosity! We really couldnât do it without you. We had a great time discovering new venues such as the historic CaffĂŠ Lena in Saratoga Springs, and the Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn, and also playing at festivals large and small, from Bearding Man in Shippensburg PA to Lonesome Fest in Strafford NH to the finale at FreshGrass in North Adams MA, where we took home a second place finish in the duoâs contestâwe met so many great people, jammed with incredible musicians such as Bruce Molsky and Tony Trischka, and opened for amazing bands like The Dustbowl Revival, and the Down Hill Strugglers among others. Â We canât wait to come back east again!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

âOpening the show was the Wyoming-based banjo and cello duo, the Littlest Birds. They opened with a surprisingly subtle interpretation of âOld Man at the Mill,â and by the time they launched into the closing medley of âBlack Elk Speaksâ and a vibrant re-invention of Woody Guthrieâs âThis Land Is Your Land,â cellist David Huebner and banjoist Sharon Martinson had captured the hearts of the audience members.â
Happy Birthday at 20K feet aboard American Airlines on the way back east a week ago! See yâall tonight at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC at 7pm.
