May 7th is Speak Your Language Day!

Remember that Speak Your Language Day isn't my idea initially! I may be the first to combine it with Sims but who knows? Anyway...

We simmers come from around the world and many of us speak more than one language but most posts are (understandably) in English. But on May 7th, make a post in your mother tongue! If it's English, maybe use your dialect etc.? Since this is simblr, make it somehow Sims-related. You can use any Sims game.

The post can be just as simple as you like, there are no guidelines. If you have no time to create anything from scratch, you could translate some old post of yours.

So, I've been working on the townies for a while now, and maybe I manage to broke all my blushes when I putted them in the cheek scar area when I downloaded the update for infants, lol. I'm so stupid when it comes to use S4S and searching things on google are not helping out. Also I'm an acumulator, I have over 30k mods (I don't even know how I have so many, I think I just kept downloading things through the years and never took the time to clean the folder since it's too many things and we don't have a proper manager with the thumbnails and going though each one in S4S IS SUCH A CHORE)... So my game takes about 2 hours to open, even with SSD. I just wish I could clean half of my CC out. phew

Yesterday I was thinking about something "dumb" but I'm posting it anyway: no one is here on Simblr TO make content. We're here to have fun, post what we like and most importantly WHEN we like and feel like doing it. Some users worry about notes on their posts, or rush to fill up their queues. It's not a job and it's not tiktok! The simblr community is a comfort zone. Take care of yourself darlings, the world is such an exhausting place already and you deserve some rest at least in your free time!

A Little Updade About My Makeover

So, I was scrolling down my dashboard and had the happy surprise of founding @magalhaessims's townie makeover, what a lovely surprise! She has a style I like, which are not HEAVY CHANGES on what the sims alreary are. So, it made my job 10 times easier, with me replacing most of the townies with hers, although, she doesn't have all the households, I'm in doubt, should I continue doing the ones I didn't download or should I keep looking for another ones? I really wanna start my legacy save with the sim I created for it, but I don't want her to have ugly townies as friends... What should I do?

🐰 Long time no see 🐰

Hello my little friends, how are you? I hope you're doing fine! Let's pretend I dind't write an f* long text of updates and manage to have it deleted! So, as you may know (or may not) I managed to lost my save with the townie makeover I was working on, the only ones I managed to save was the Landgraab and the Spencer-Kim-Lewis. So, I was reworking on The Goths, The BFF Household and The Caliente, as for The Roomies, well, we'll see how long it takes for me to get there. SO HERE'S AN UPDATE, YAY!

I like more the Bella (or Laura, in my country) as for the older one, I think that now she looks like a mother of a teenager and a little boy. As for Alexander... Well, let's hope it's just an ugly duck phase.

I think I did a better job this time in keeping their essence as what they already are in the game, as how they were made to be. Except for Summer, I think the older one looks better, but that my opinion. As for Travis, I think now he looks like a nerdy but confident guy!

I'm currently working on the Caliente's, but hey, here's Katrina, and now I think she looks like a mother of two grown up women. I'm still working or her clothes, but here's her face and what I've done so far.

SOME NOTES ABOUT THE PROCESS: As always, I try to not change they're facial features and bodies (skin tone included), I think it works best for me, to keep their essence. But it's a try, sometimes I'll change a little here and there, mostly when I think they are not racialy accurate or something just looks weird in my view. I was questioning a lot my capacity at making sims while redoing them, mostly for Katrina, as she looked STUNNING in my older version, also for Summer, I really liked the older version, but I suck at replicating things from scratch so, I'll have what I got. I'm trying my best, you know, by procrastinating my university duties and pretend I don't have reponsabilities by playing Sims instead of doing my essays. So, as always I DO TAKE CRITICISM, SO FEEL FREE TO SAY WHAT YOU THINK, IF YOU HATE THEM, IF YOU LOVE THEM, IDK. See ya little buddies 🐰
