The recent death of Nanami and Rin's first son, Toshio, has hit them both hard. It started as a simple cough and before they knew it their boy was gone. Nanami had wanted to buy him special medicine but Rin had laughed it off, assuring her that the baby was just fine and that a little sickness wouldn't hurt him. Now she blames him, convinced she could have saved him if she just ignored Rin. It's a difficult time for them both, with her brother trying to counsel forgiveness and understanding.

Nanami Ito, 22

Nanami went from living on cloud nine to the very depths of despair. She spends a lot of her time now alone, writing music dedicated to her lost son. She's convinced she must make amends to him, somehow. More and more she looks at the boats leaving the harbor and wishes she was on one. Maybe everything could be better if she lived somewhere else, somewhere far, far away.

Rin Ito, 23

A dedicated scholar Rin has always been a good-natured, well-liked young man. He couldn't believe his luck when he married Nanami - she seemed his perfect match. But then they lost Toshio and now all they do is yell and cry. He spends more time in his study than ever, practicing his calligraphy and shutting out the unpleasantries. Honestly if Nanami jumped on a boat he'd probably join her.

That night, Kenny Ito had an assignment for his internship to attend the Humor & Hijinks Festival and write some blogs about it. Obviously, he joined the mischief side of the festival! He even bumped into his sister Nanami, and he gave her a good scare, acting like he was a ghost come to haunt her. However, trying to prank Lillith Pleasant with a handbuzzer didn't go so well.

It was also the perfect time to try out some new mischief magic he learned from L earlier in the day. He went to a corner and cast Deliriate on a random Sim. Sure enough, the target straightened up and then seemed visibly dizzy. Looks like it worked! The others will just assume he drank a little too much.
