really!? thank you so much, tbh my island is super lame compared to so many other people’s that i’ve seen out there haha, half the time i’m just astounded with how they have gotten so far and have so much stuff already and i have barely made any progress. but thank you! this is encouraging it’s an adorable little game and i’m enjoying it so much more than i thought i would.

Island Update: 120+ hours played

ALOT more work to do: 

this is my first time playing animal crossing so i made a lot of rookie mistakes like placing my resident houses in terrible areas, not considering terraforming in my development (not even knowing until like 85 hours in that terraforming was going to become unlocked) struggling with constant indecision about themes and whatnot. 

anyway, i’ve decided i want to keep the layout as natural as possible, i am going to try and let go of perfect symmetry and a grid system, and try my best to do something somewhat different but still have fun. 

terraforming is a bitch, probably why i haven’t done more of it but i did reduce tons of cliffs, on the north shore, and add some tributaries to the river and waterfalls.
