Montreal via the Prairies’ ssurfacing takes care of the 30th mix in our little series with a wonderfully emotive and flavour-spanning hour of reflective soul-sonics.

One of our happiest memories of last summer was at the very beginning of our LT Rave™, when ssurfacing performed a stunning meditative live set that had everyone in the room flat on their backs in a state of ease, pre-dance (small momento to that eve's proceedings here: youtu.be/sDLFwJeM-9M).

In Between maintaining his excellent posture and saving the world he's getting the beers in and rotating the platters what matter. For Little Tapes 028, we thought we'd share with you the raw, unedited recording of LT residents Alex & Jon a.k.a The Geesemen Deejays live in concert at the Greenbeam "Love of Angels Energy Booster" on September the 3rd 2016, from roughly 430-7am, on the Bassix sound system.

Mad love to the greenhouse fam, all the acts on the night, all what came out n' danced, our friends, family and beyond.

Local head GRKZGL rustles takes care of the 27th mix in our series with an hour of freaked out entrancing atmospheres and rhythms.

GRKZGL has been active in the Montreal Post-Industrial, Noise and Techno circuit for over a decade, putting out material on cult labels such as Brise-Cul, .Angle.Rec., Control Valve and most recently FDG's NO EXP.

In past months he has supported Essaie Pas and Orphx, performed collaborations with Pierre of Essaie Pas and ssurfacing, and has played a smattering of the many post-industrial shows that take place on the regular here in Montréal. Take the plunge!

470 Fairview’s Will DiMaggio steps up for the 26th transmission with an hour of jazzed out trax what is sure to leave you feeling easey..

As well as being hugely talented on the buttons (check his 12" on Future Times here: goo.gl/cafBos), the geez has wonderful records, a 47 minute snapshot of him smartly blending some of them presented here. Robbert Heijen, founding member of the seminal tribal-trance outfit Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia and eXquisite CORpsE, with releases such as "Dream Night Dance Music", "Inner light" and "Reassembling Reality", serves up our 25th transmission.

Now a Canadian resident, hes been involved with recent projects such as Dadavistic Orchestra, alongside other PWOG members and Ken Dowie and Martin Dust of The Black Dog.

He's put together a fine one point five hour mix thats "a reflection of the popular music I was interested in during the 80s". Also check out his soundcloud page, some semi-recent productions uploaded are completely fiji. Enjoy!

Journeymann aka Bobby Draino steps up for the Little Tapes 024 with a crucial hour of mellowed out atmospheric Jungle n' Drum & Bass music.

He's put out trax on labels such as 1080p, 100% Silk, and most recently a quality collaborative 12” on Normals Welcome with D.Tiffany. Whats more he’s the founder and active participant of the excellent “Smoked Out Drum & Bass” online music sharing group (more info here: goo.gl/w8GMzb), a group dedicated to "deep, atmospheric, viby cuts, from that earlier era (but not necessarily limited to).”

We are truly blessed for Little Tapes 023 to share with you a one hour studio session recording from multi-disciplinary artist Robin Storey aka Rapoon.

A founding member of the inimitable post-industrial project Zoviet France and composer of 61 albums under the legendary Rapoon moniker, his music roams as an “entrancing fusion of Indian ragas, African rhythms and experimental textures.”

The next hour betrays nothing of the spirit of improvisation and experimentalism that has come to characterize his music, a spirit that is every bit enticing today as it was in 1980.
