You're not an archeologist, technically you're not any sort of 'ologist' at all! You're not even a scientist.
You're a tourist, one who was very stupid and very, very lost. Usually being lost in Cairo wasn't much of a problem. Most people there would be more than willing to help someone get with the rest of the bumbling tourists, ohhing and ahhing at everything they could see.
No, you were in quite the worst possible place to ever get lost. In the PYRAMID. You had no clue how you had gone so wrong, a simple wrong turn sent you tripping over a rock and crashing through some thin scaffolding that had been hiding a rather large hole.
The fall hadn't been too far, maybe five feet? But landing on the hard ground and the scaffolding had been painful, and you had passed out pretty quickly. Waking up a few minutes later with a throbbing headache, you looked up to see that the hole you had fallen through was just...Gone.
As if it had never even existed, you could see the perfectly untouched walls of a mural. Flicking on your phones flashlight, terror climbed your throat. Had someone dragged you here? Had you fallen further somehow in your sleep.
Your hands smoothed across the cool stone, the ancient paint untouched for what could have been centuries and OH GOD WHY ARE YOU STILL TOUCHING IT??
Ripping your hand away and shining the light on it, you were immensely relieved to find that none of the paint had scraped off by your touch. You turned around, shining the light across the weird little room you were in.

And a smaller mummy, one weilding a sniper rifle, hovering over all of them with her gun aimed down.
This was weird. You had to be getting pranked! There wasn't any other reason why this was happening! Surely someone would come to get you, apologize to you, maybe take you to a hospital for your fearsome headache?
You frowned, and once you had made a full circle around the room to admire the murals, you saw something that you were super super sure hadn't been there before.
A door way. A sloping one that dipped low into a spiralling staircase. An orange light glowed dimly from within. You could hear a voice down there, low and growling, and the hair on your arms raised.
Should you go down? Or should you stay and call for help?

So, you had fractured your tailbone falling off a ladder. Mercy, or really any other healers, hadn't been able to get out yet and you'd been put on bedrest with daily nanite injections.
Hana had arrived maybe a week into your pain-vacation, grumpy to have been pulled away from the battlefield and tired from the flight, and had been given a task that was so simple it was almost insulting; guard duty.
Hana just the week before had been in the thick of a fight against the Null Sector, blasting off Omnic heads and learning twenty new ways to electrocute herself, and now she was here. In the middle of nowhere in the Mediterranean!
She had half a mind to go to Winston himself and quit Overwatch on the spot. Lucky for him, you were the perfect distraction. You had welcomed her to the outpost with a tired smile and offered her a cup of instant coffee, whipped in the way that made it look like dalgona from back home, and pretty much immediately made her fall in love.
