Glasto 95 was so amazing, Oasis were spot on musically, Liamās look was at a peek, his attitude spot on, his voice perfect, Noelās guitar playing was just beautiful. The whole show was perfect. Oasis at their best and peek of their career.

Iāve noticed people showing concern over Liamās relationship with Debbie & how close they are. People are saying sheās controlling and that he is too dependent on her. I donāt know how much these people actually know about their relationship, how much they have witnessed or if they have knowledge from people close to Liam and Debbie. But I think some people are being a bit harsh, I donāt know Debbie and have only spoken to Liam once or twice in last few years, the last time we had a long chat was when he was in beady eye and most of my time spent with him was 90s/early 00s and on/off when he was in oasis. In a lot of ways he needs someone to help him navigate his life, for years Noel took care of everything when he joined oasis he took charge Liam got used to this, patsy & Nicole also helped him in similar ways, heās always been impulsive etc and once Noel, patsy and Nicole left he didnāt have the tools to deal with things (heās said this himself) Debbie helped him get back on track, helped him get to a place where he is happy and settled and thatās good for him and as long as he is happy, he can do his music, he can live his life, he can have a good relationship with his kids and his exās then thatās all that matters. If it becomes unhealthy I think people would notice. Controlling partners usually start stopping you seeing your friends, stop you doing things you enjoy, cut you off from family, eventually you end up alone, cut off from the outside world and never leave the house except to walk behind them for appearances (I speak from experience) anyway from what I know of Liam, the time Iāve spent with him, the relationships Iāve seen him in I personally think sheās good for him, they love each other, they are happy & sheāll keep him right which means we will still get to enjoy his music, gigs & interviews. Obv this is my opinion and Iām going from my experience and my experiences with Liam, so maybe people know things I donāt, maybe theyāve spent time with those around him now I donāt know but just maybe judging from afar & without actually knowing the situation is a bit harsh, is wrong and unfair on Debbie and Liam. My most recent experience was I had a major accident & was badly hurt and out of the blue he called me to say get better soon etc after kelly had told him what happened so I assume Debbie had no problem with him making a call to a old oasis fan (who hung around him back in the day) after kelly told him the situation which is a good thing as a controlling partner wouldnāt be happy with any contact with anything with that sort of history connection. So maybe we should leave her alone

Thank you, Liam. Thatās it. However, cuz you a rock star people find you cool for that. When someone not as famous as you behaves this way, is considered a dickhead or an asshole. Hipocrisy knows no limit, but thank you for saying this gem anyway.
Heās right people should be allowed to say what they think (as long as itās not homophobic, racist, discrimination eg disabled people etc) and not get shit for it weather they are famous or not. People are entitled to their own opinions and confidence is not a bad thing. Be yourself, you canāt be no one else.
Sometimes I wonder how time changes so much.
What we saw, thought and felt in the 90s is different than what people see now. Itās the difference in being there at the time and not being there and looking back itās different in our eyes. What was once tough, crazy, chaos, fun and bad boy antics is now cute, sweet and soft. Back then no one used the word sweet in the same sentence when talking about Liam we never saw a cute, sweet, soft and gentle guy we saw a bad boy, a drunk crazy fun guy, some one sexy. Liam was Liam simple heād swear, heād fight, heād drink yes if you were nice to him and he liked you, youād have great fun and heād treat you well but if you pissed him off then you better run. He wasnāt nasty and was a nice guy but the way people talk about him now is so opposite his image, it just doesnāt fit. I love him, I love oasis and have done since 94, I watched it all happen, the stories in the press, the gigs, the brothers fights, everything it was a great time. I donāt understand where or why people now see things so differently it seems those who missed the actual thing and are just looking back are looking through rose tinted glasses like how can you look at (for eg) fights involving a cricket bat, smashing up a hotel room, getting drunk and arrested on a ferry, swearing every two words, interviews turning into arguments, general drunken fights and disorder and loads more and come out with sweet, gentle, cute, pat him on the head and call him by the cutie name Liamie (which if Iām honest if anyone said that to his face his reaction would probably be wtf, fuck off) what is it that makes us see things so differently? Are people just trying to pretend? Where does it come from? Have us 90s people missed something? Is it trying to pretend that anything that happened which doesnāt fit todayās accepted standards didnāt happen? Oasis were working class guys who liked a drink, a smoke, the odd fight and any dope or coke around. They wanted to be rock stars, they wanted that image, the whole throw a tv out the window, drive a car into a pool type of thing, to be the center of attention, they loved it why deny them that, why take it away. If you love them then you should love everything about them it was part of the fun. They flew high, they lived the life, they crashed, they burned it was a rollercoaster and it was one hell of a ride. Turning them into sweet, cute and cuddly boys just spoils the fun, the madness of it all. Yes theyāve grown up, yes they may be different now but now they are not oasis they are Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagherās high flying birds itās different, they are different theyāve learned from things but donāt take away what oasis were it happened and it happened that way it canāt be changed. Iām in no way saying they were bad guys cos they werenāt they were great guys they just kicked ya ass if they didnāt like you, trashed the cameras of the stupid press if they crossed a line, they were young lads who suddenly had lots of money free access to as much drink, drugs and girls as they wanted so they had fun. Now their older, more settled, aware of things so they are different (but still not cute and cuddly) there will always be flashes of the old Liam when he has a rant and of course he still swears only new itās every other sentence not every other word, they donāt use the word c**t as much as they used to (which was a lot) I just donāt understand how people can change so much retrospectively, the 90s were the 90s. Of course the Gallagher brothers fights have always been the same that will never change itās one constant that no one can deny and will probably be the same till the day they die which is really sad cos it pretty much means we will never get a oasis reunion (unless we have two separate stages one for Noel one for Liam, different entrances so they donāt go anywhere near each other or maybe two separate gigs and just have a video screen at each so you can still watch and see the other one lol š I should pitch that idea š)

(me again) Also after I read peggy talking to paolo hewitt about how she had to go to work when liam was young, and he'd be home alone with just the TV for company waiting for his brothers to get home, and calling her and crying because he hated being alone so much. that anecdote really stood out to me, thinking about how that might ingrain an aversion to being alone as an adult and taking rejection hard and stuff :(
That's heartbreaking. Being left alone for that long in your most formative years in which you depend on your parents for everything would affect your psyche, I'd imagine.
It'd be enlightening to hear a professional's opinion on how childhood experiences like that form people on the long run.
Itās a sad thing and can be a factor in someone developing attachment disorders and in how much a person needs attention and stuff Liam has always been one who needs to be the centre of attention, constantly wanting to be adored, he may hate Noel but he always wanted his approval. I always think of when Noel described himself as a cat & Liam as a puppy going love me, play with me, always needing attention whereas Noel as a cat was independent and happy alone. Also think what happens when u put a puppy & a cat in a bag explains the fights lol
