Worries of fandoms treatment of Darius

With the increase popularity of Darius and his revealed alliance with Raine I’ve been seeing somethings that have been making me worried. Ofc many of Darius scenes are with Hunter and so naturally people would start to make him a father/brother figure. People wants best with Hunter(and atleast they aren’t bashing Darius anymore 🥴) Anyways my worry is that I fear people will start to make that Darius only trope. That every scene he is in will only be seen as how it can help/impact Hunter. I especially fear that if Darius hurts him(emotionally) some way we will see a pop up of abusive/manipulative fanfics. I get you cherish their relationship, I do as well, but let’s nip this in the but before it get worst. You can have your hc and aus while acknowledging that Darius is his own character outside of Hunter.

y’all might be tired of me saying this but idc. The way that fans treat black characters isn’t the best you have to admit. You guys only see them as a plot device to further your favs along. I’m not saying I expect them to be your favs but people don’t acknowledge that they are they’re own people outside of your favs.

I was already sold on the SU movie, but this scene really cinched it for me. I’ve always loved villain songs, and this one just… I love it. The animation is so fluid and dynamic and Sarah Stiles absolutely knocks it out of the park with her vocal performance.

Can anyone help?

I’m so exhausted. Idk what else to say guys. I’m rly rly rly close to convincing myself nothing is worth living. I dropped out of college this semester for a number of reasons (disabilities, finances, pure lack of motivation, a rly uncomfortable situation w/ my old professor, etc). I’m forcing myself to work part-time but it isn’t cutting it.

Oh and remember that partner that was so kindly supporting me through escaping my abusive household? Well… Things aren’t working out. I’m scared of homelessness. More importantly, I’m scared shitless without meds.

So here’s another desperate cry for help, I’m rly sorry it came to posting this. I feel like I don’t deserve the help but my tummy is growling & I’m officially alone in this battle. At least irl anyways. I’m sorry. I’m waiting on a check that isn’t here. It’s a week late. I need to call & see what’s going on but in the meantime, PLEASE, if you are comfortably able, I could rly use a helping hand rn.

I can make a drawing for you, I can help with english/human development hw, I can give artists a platform to spread their amazing art but that’s about it. Please please please help me get through this next few days (???) hopefully. I’m sorry… I rly hope this doesn’t last any longer than that but I have a feeling it will. I’m gonna make some phone calls & see what resources are around me for long-term help.
