Snowball Music Festival Day 1
5 People Guaranteed to be Seen at Snowball
The Neon Hype Man: This ray of neon sunshine is clothed in ALL colors of the neon rainbow. These types are usually very “pumped” or “stoked” on life, have ample dancing stamina, and more often than not, fully adorned in glow sticks of all types.
The Master of Disguise: This playful mascot plans out their cheeky costume weeks in advance. With a childlike glimmer in their eye, he or she looks forward to festival season for the sole purpose of taking on their alter ego. As we all know, music festivals are what you make them, and this character chooses to make them 2nd Halloween.
The Eager iPhonographer: This dedicated historian may not be able to go in to depth on what he saw or what his favorite musical artist made him feel inside. However, he will undoubtedly be able to show you a grainy, poorly composed, smart phone documentation of every single set he attended (Complete with raised, view-blocking hands)!
The Ill-equipped Snow Bunny: We all know this little hunny. It’s inevitable, you will have at least one in your group. This prideful fashionista will refuse to bog down her spirit with heavy, drab winter clothing. There’s also a good chance she won’t stop complaining about her discomfort.
The Professional Festy-goer: Also endearingly known as a “Wook”, usually smelling of incense, and rarely caught in a bad mood. This wandering vagabond tours the festival scene year around and is quite possibly the easiest friend to make.
I cannot wait to see all of these familiar faces that I love so much in 3 days at Snowball Music Festival!

Snowball Music Festival 2014
In two weeks we will be traveling to the ultimate winter wonderland. We could not be happier to announce that we will be contributing in press coverage for Snowball Music Festival 2014. This quickly growing festival is being held in Denver, Colorado during April 4th-6th.
I consider myself a Snowball veteran, as I have attended every year since its inaugural year in March of 2011. This unique festival has brought me so much joy over the years. Many of the acquaintances I have made through it have become life-long friends. The sense of community and comradery is undeniable. From snowball fights to slipping and sliding on the dance floor, Snowball is nothing less than an adult playground.
I am particularly excited about this year as it yields a lineup nothing short of mind blowing. Headliners include Pretty Lights, Knife Party, and GRiZ, followed by notable acts such as the Pretty Lights Music label, Mimosa, and Busta Rhymes. However, I am particularly excited to see some of the newer artists to the scene. Snowball has always had a knack for knowing who the most promising up-and-comers are, and this has encouraged my love for talent scouting over the years.
This is a festival that should be put on every music and mountain lover’s bucket list. See for yourself by grabbing a ticket and joining me this year!
I will be posting live updates from the festival, so feel free to follow me on twitter and instagram @HeyRayRod.
