Your childhood best friend has written you the most gut-wrenching, heartwarming birthday card. It's like walking down memory lane of your cherished friendship—from the moment you two first met to the present day.
She reminisces about the dreams you shared as kids, fantasizing about going to college together and the excitement of approaching that milestone as you both got older. She recalls your late-night talks about what your first jobs would be like post-graduation and where we might live. She wishes that this coming year will be something you look back on with pride—not because of your accomplishments or what happened, but because you are becoming more of who you are meant to be.
All I know is that I wouldn't be even a fraction of the woman I am today without her in my life. She's witnessed my best and worst moments, the highs and the lows, and despite everything, she's always chosen to stand by me.
For that, I am profoundly thankful.
As a child I hated being told what to do. It didn’t matter who it was, my siblings, friends, my parents- I was going to do things my way and on my time.
It’s funny how things change from “Don’t tell me what to do” to “Tell me what to do”

If I could freeze this moment, I would live in it forever… swimming in the possible while the mud of the real is stuck to the shore.

everyone who reads this post will get some big spicy joy within 24 large minutes (hours)
Ok y'all but like I’m not even kidding about this I read this post yesterday and today I got an email from the peeps at hamilton and I won the lotto gor $10 tickets and I would like to give all my thanks to the internet’s favorite fish, Goldie Gurston, for making this possible because I totally believe they did this with their amazing gay powers
So I know this is likely a coincidence…but I reblogged this and just now discovered I’ve been given a $150 amazon gift card as a bonus at work. So thank you, fish!
If it worked for them I hope it works for everyone else
Some big spicy joy pls
SOME BIG SPICY JOY PLEASE
One helping of some big spicy joy please!
It’s just past 3AM. My mind should be in a peaceful, calm state. Instead, I’m stuck with this:
Burying yourself in bed under warm covers while also inhaling the overpowering scent of “Fresh” via Unstoppables in-wash scent booster ™️ after a scalding hot shower
sabrina after making any decision ever
you’re the person in the background of so many photos that you will never see
Jolene by Dolly Parton except it’s playing downstairs while you’re laying up in the loft of a cabin listening to the thunder and rain hitting the roof tiles above you
Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver except it’s playing from your neighbor’s radio that you can hear from your back porch, which you sit out on to relax in spite of the loud buzzing from the lightbulb and the hoards of moths that flock to it on summer evenings like this.
This is just literally what it’s like to sit on my porch
is this asmr
He said, I wanna see you again, but I’m stuck in Colder Weather- maybe tomorrow will be better, can I call you then?
