Les-B-Honest

Been in San Diego for almost 3 weeks and I must say that the LGBT Community is very small... Coming from Dallas, TX where the majority of the lesbian community is African American and Latino, I am somewhat disappointed. I miss the diversity that was in Texas. Yes, diversity.... in Texas... who would have ever thought that Dallas has more diveristy than San Diego... Even LA for that matter. 

But with lack of diversity brings drama apparently. I have been talking to a FTM (Female-To-Male) for a few months now and since my relocation I have been out with him a few times, visiting some of the local gay bars such as Gossip Grill, Cantina, Brass Rail, etc. However, the last few times we have been out an ex-girlfriend or an ex-fuck buddy has approached him and either started some mess or was being disrespectful... I have been doing well with keeping my cool, but the blatant lack of respect that these women have out here for others. It’s frankly astonishing to say the least. I know in Texas, we can come off pretty rude but we stay in our own lane. If you see me with mine, and we have history then you look the other way. Not grab my ass and say its ok because my date didn’t see it. Amazing.... 

Next week is San Diego Pride and I am somewhat excited, but all the hype is making me more inclined not to particpate not to mention the inflauation in price at some of these free bars and such charging over $50 at the door to get in. Seriously? I’d rather be at the beach... which is where I think i will be. I don’t see the point in breaking the bank just to be crowded all weekend.

Just created a logo for this upcoming family reunion for a client. They gave me a drawing of what they were looking for, I think I nailed it! This will be going on t-shirts.... Pretty excited! Still have to create a Welcome Letter, FB Banner, Flyer and Brochure.... But so far so good!

Death By Sushi!

Who ever thought that something so beautiful... could cause so much pain....

I have been eating sushi for over 2 months, easily 5 times a week... and found out that I have Mercury Poisoning! Yikes Right! After almost having a near death experience in my car due to my vision failing and a sharp pain above my eye.

No help from the doctors of course who pretty much told me not to come to the emergency room unless I have an emergency. Sitting down at table with my wonderful mother the next day...  I experienced yet another sharp pain and loss of vision... right when I was about to order my favorite sushi... it hits my mom right then what the problem was!

Since this discovery... I have begun a coffee detox, along with taking 3-5 charcoal pills a day. Just in case you didn't know, mercury take along time to leave the body... and charcoal acts a natural observant.

But, luckily what doesn't kill you makes you smarter... I have discovered that I can eat Salmon!
