It wasn’t often that Akira played video games with Futaba, mostly because she could soke him in practically everything, but he always enjoyed whenever they did find something to enjoy together. This was one of those rare occasions when Akira was actually destroying her in terms of score difference: The new Hatsune Miku rhythm game with full on motion controls.
“Come on, Futaba! Keep up the pace!” He tried to motivate her, though he did sound like he was starting to show signs of weakness. His cockiness was fading and fatigue was slowly setting in.
“Argh, zip it, you-- ambidextrous menace!” Futaba growled. And here we see one of her rarer forms: the sore loser, scarcely seen due to the fact that she doesn’t lose. “How am I supposed to move my left thumb that fast?! How could Miku betray me like this?!” She flopped onto the couch, moaning in defeat. No, she couldn’t let it end like this. She will not be felled by mere motion controls!
“I’m done getting pushed around. We’re playing Common World Domination.” She’s perfected this one dozens of times. If she can do one song, its this one.

If he could describe juvie as anything, it would be “boring”. Maybe that would change if the appeals didn’t work, if he reached his birthday and moved up to actual jail, but for now, it’s just boring. He’s trying his best to be grateful for that.
Most of the time he was in solitary, an attempt to make him more “cooperative” with the police. Funnily enough, he actually was cooperating, but nobody wanted a testimony that involved going into other worlds. He didn’t have much of a problem with that, though; he wasn’t here to make friends, and they allowed him to have books in there, at the very least. He could keep up with school, too. It was nice to know he could graduate the same time as everyone else, if he could get out of here.
If, if, if. The thought bounces around his skull like a pendulum.
The worst part is the double-set of memories. Part of him has been here for months, another part just got here, and both parts felt completely alone.

Despite his desire for contact, he can’t help but dread visiting hours. Another meeting with Nijima dangling hope on a string, another pitiful glance hidden in Sojiro’s eye, another stretch of silence with his mother.

been playin p3p and i love how like, not a big deal people getting personas is. like p4 and p5 has it be this whole dramatic self actualization moment but in p3 the teacher is just like “hey I found this guy in the garbage he has a persona say hello”
