if you didn’t know, the amazon rainforest is on its 16th day of burning. my heart is broken, this is so saddening, and upsetting and nobody is doing anything about it.

the amazon is the world’s largest tropical rainforest. covering over 5.5 million square kilometres, fitting uk + ireland 17 times over. the amazon creates 20% of the air we breathe, has 40% of the world’s tropical forest, holds 20% of the world’s fresh water supply, 10% of the world’s species. there are 40,000 of plant species, 3000 kinds of edible fruit. besides that there are more than 430 species of mammals, and millions of species of insects all dying in there.

where the fuck are mass corporations? why am i hearing about this from fucking social media and not the main stream news? the amazon rainforest is regarded as the fucking LUNGS of this earth. in case you need to be told, this is what the end times look like. massive corporations have been killing this planet for decades. it’s time for boycotts, riots, and it’s time for you to get really fucking angry because we don’t have anywhere else to go if we destroy this earth. awareness needs to be raised.
