If Odysseus at some point in Act 2 turns around to ask for something from his second in command and realises he’s not there anymore I’m going to curl up in a ball and cry.

I adore the new recordings of the Troy and Cyclops saga. There is so much cool stuff. But I will forever miss Athenas 'DooOoon't!' In Remember Them. It was such a guttural Don't that it utterly convinced me of Athena trying desperately to stop Odysseus. It is what it is, but I will forever miss the single Don't.

I just realized something...

Eurylochus is the one who opened the bag of winds.

It was something so obvious because of the Puppeteer song and what happened in the ocean saga, but I'm only now connecting the dots.

and honestly? Thats having nerve.

Eurylochus, who made himself look like someone super upright, THE SECOND IN COMMAND, Eurylochus who COMPLAINED to Odysseus about not doing anything against Scylla (a sea monster that was in its natural habitat, fighting would have been suicide) when NOT HE did anything against her, when he was willing to ABANDONE his men on Circe's island and questions Odysseus's leadership skills using THOSE EXAMPLES (look, Ody didn't always do things right, but there really weren't any big losses until the Ocean Saga and he handle them very well)--

the same Eurylochus that if he had not opened the pocket of winds which Odysseus spent SLEEPLESS NIGHTS watching so that no one opened (and told them verbatim NOT TO OPEN) they would not have retreated when they were about to reach Ithaca, sending the entire fleet to where POSEIDON was, WHERE ALMOST EVERYONE DIED, THEY ESCAPED BY A HAIR-

And yet he has the Audacity to say that "if Odysseus wants all the power he must take all the BLAME"? WHEN WAS IT BECAUSE OF HIS STUPIDITY THAT THEY WERE IN THE UNDERWORLD IN THE FIRST PLACE? THE REASON WHY SO MUCH PEOPLE DIED IN THE FIRST PLACE??

Yup! 100% the fact that he makes it out like its Odys fault so many men died and not because of his own recklessness causing Poseidon to catch up to them. They could have made it home and Poseidon could have still hashed his issues out with Ody but nah, big sword lad just gunna blame cappy. That's just not right.

Listen. I still don't get Zeus' logic of forcing Ody to kill his crew (or himself) for a situation he never created. Eurylochus should have been given that decision. He literally took over from Ody and his final line before the fight was 'If you want all the power, you must carry all the blame'.

I understand for the story it had to be Ody but still, c'mon. The Gods are literally stalking them at this point, they can't see Odysseus trying to tell them all not to murder cows. C'mon!?

The point is that zeus does not care, he came down there because hellos asked him to do it. You can hear it in his lyrics that are unrelated to the situation until he faces Odysseus. It's like he heard hellos say Odysseus and immediately went down to the mortals. Zeus wants ody to suffer, he wants ody to maybe change, but most of all zeus finds someone interesting to mess with, and so he puts all his attention to the only one on that boat that interests him-odysseus

alright so I had this idea for the future and I wanted to know what yall think about it

since the remake of the Troy and Cyclops saga I've been wanting to re-release The horse and The Infant and Just a man with the new versions of the song as well. I would take this opportunity to make both animatics one single video (as I've always intended for them to be watched one after another), AND,

I won't be remaking the entire animatics, but I had some ideas for shots I'd like to remake in both videos. Thing is I've gotten a lot better at drawing and animating since then, so there would be quite a difference in style for certain scenes

my question is if the quality whiplash would take you guys out of the moment or it's not really a big deal
