Lets be honest, tommy never stand a chance against Eddie Diaz, a man who was introduced shirtless with "What A Man"™ and immediately throw Buck in a crisis's about his "masculinity" just to bond with him in a record time of almost a entire shift.
dude, the "Eddie would never do anything illegal. Eddie has a Silver Star." It's making me nuts, like that how Buck see Eddie. Like someone who doesn't cross the line and don't break the law (even though he did fight in a illegal fight club for some time but that's not the point since he was going through a lot there). But for Buck Eddie's is not go6to jump of the closet even if he reciprocates the feelings. that's why he thinks he's not going to be back, that's why he has trouble sleeping alone in their house, that's why he makes stupid decisions to sleep with his ex, because, in his mind, Eddie is a incorrigible silver star who's never going to be with him. But little does he knows that Eddie has already started his on plot on coming out and Texas is his final stop before fully become.
I'm living for the day that Eddie finds out that Buck slept in his house and bad with the ugly ass Tommy
not buck having the worst year possible: he's wack ass boyfriend (who was his ex-fiencé ex's) dumped him, his son is in the fucking texas from months now, and his sister was kidnap (again!), the dog he's was willing to adopt already has a family and now his husband is moving and letting him behind to figure out by himself 8 years of feelings.... god, give this man a break.
at this point who has the guts to accused fans and shippers to be "seeing to much" THERE IS NO OTHER EXPLANATION FOR THIS CHARACTER MAKE THIS EXPRESSION IF HE'S NOT FEELING THE LOST OF THE LOVE OF THIS LIFE
i hung up on the fact that buck was the one the found chris favorite shirt (that's he's been looking since he move) and buck was the one that found it.
buck it's no only losing his other half, best friend and complicated 8 years situationship, he's also losing his son.
GIVE HIS SON BACK TO HIM FOR FUCK SAKE
not eddie spraying and buck wiping the freaking glass like that "not everything is a two man job" tiktok viral
you know what's funny?
eddie FIRST being upset that Buck didn't share a important decision (getting a dog) with him
like you know
The way lovers/partners do, when they significant others don't share important, life changes with them.
You know.
why a little firefighter show (staring Angela fucking Basset) gives you a feeling of rush and dopamine of running a marathon with a scene without lines between a pantless man and his freshly dumped best friend????
I've been following buddy's (painful, stressful, amazing, conflicted and very delightful) story for while now, about three, maybe four years (and i admit, i don't watch the full show, i stop watching full episodes by season 2 and now i see the highlights of the characters, mostly and focus on buddy, nothing big about it i just don't have time or patience for long running shows, although ssince they move to abc, the length of episodes get better, anyway I'm losting track. SO BUDDIE!
from the start it just think, yeap, they're together. then, while season 4 and 5 was happening i was like "i think the producers or the writes has a grudge against shippers" but theeen I noticed that was a company problem, like fox and all.
Then Bi Buck finally happened! And for me, as a shipper who it's not so in sync with the fandom, but has a LOT of experience with bl, it was obvious that Tommy's character was set to explore Bi!Buck, like his previous relationships, was to make him grow. It's so clear, from a narrative perspective, its clear as water.
Meanwhile Eddie was (and still is) a mystery. He begins episode doesn't do it for his personality or hes personal desires (im talking Eddie as a person, not as a father or a firefighter) and the plots for him it's never about himself, it's was always about the duty of being him outside, up until now.
8 seasons, countless episodes but finally some perspective of personality and individuality for him. As for Buck, like Oliver say, LET THE MAN FUCK, let him get loose on some party, making out with women and mens, and get some fucking fun for a change, and please let him do it with Eddie by his side (not with each other in the beginning) seeing his best friend been free, allowing himself to be free as well. Like, for a while, just the 2 of them, exploring the possibilitys of just... be.
Then, comeback to us, in the final episode of the season. Put this 2 in a plane (not a fucking helicopter) directly to Texas, where they talk to Chris and convince him to back home. And when they come back officially, make a calm scene. Where Chris it's asleep, tired from de fhe flight and buddie are in the couch, sharing a beer and Eddie's is like "thanks for coming with me" and Bucks it's like "Yeah, you my best friend, you don't need to thank me." and they lean to each other, and breathe slowly, and the lights behind them highlights their faces. And the kiss happen naturally, just like they friendship, inevitable ans strong.
a late entry, but heavy contender for tik tok of the year
this is sooo firstprince coded and you know who it's who.
I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!
Hey, I swear I ment to reply this early. Sorry.
And no I haven't heard about this book. It's quite interesting. I'm gonna look for it. Thanks for the recommendation.
hey, do u know which scene is it in the book from the shot of them looking at each other? I can’t figure it out. It looks like they are in a cafe, maybe?
So my dumb ass forget the Paris part of the book, maybe there's the scene.
so here's a list of 5 movies to watch while waiting for Red, White and Royal Blue movie 🎬
1 - 10 Things I Hate About You
the american enemies to lovers™ it has the sassy, the drama, the young love and the great comedy romance, just what we need to prepare our romantic and queer (because who didn't had have a bissexual awakening with Stiles and Hedger back then?)
2 - Hamilton
because...dã??? You don't have to be into musicals and stuff, it's a great "live movie?" I don't know how to explain but it's funny, it's happy and sad. And if you're into "history, uh?" kind of thing, that's the movie. and I don't need to say that the Alex has a LOT (including his bi ass) in common with Alexander Hamilton.
3 - Imagine Me & You
It's the romantic movie and it's british (for balance) and it's ✨gay✨ (sapphic to be more precise) its the kind of movie that you finish whit you heart warm and soft. When I was like 15 and watched for the first time, I was sure that I was a lesbian (the bi thing wasn't even a option, thanks God for the clarification and more information on queernees along the time).
4 - Hansome Devil
I genuinely didn't remember Nicolas Galitzine I or this movie (because that was a time where I will watch a bunch of queer movies withoutreally absorbing a thing) but then rwrb trailer came out and internet did what always, also the movie has Andrew fucking Scott ???? (Like, have you see him as the hot priest in fleabag??)
Anyway, It's is a queer movie about finding yourself and learning how to speak up, and Nick is so young and looking like a baby there. It's a must watch.
5 - The Way He Looks
because I'm Brazilian and have been watching queer movies for almost 15 years now (most of then internacional) but this one it's is in my language and til this day its my favorite, for some many reasons, that I will need another list in another post to tell u about. Anyway, it really pays off with the sweetness, and yeah, if you watch it. It will change your life. Like changed mine.
