So my band is playing its first show on October 27th. We officially announced ourselves as a band the second we booked this show a week or so ago and we've been breaking out backs doing our best to be as professional as we can. We planned and had a photo shoot, we're spending so much time on mixing our first single so it can be something that doesn't sound like a demo and it could be something you really could enjoy, and we're planning to record our introduction video for YouTube when our guitarist comes home from Orlando. My Vans Warped Tour payload: 4 wristbands, Man Overboard's new CD, Texas In July's new CD, and a Texas In July shirt. I also got autographs from every member of Crown The Empire and Texas In July. I also got two drumsticks autographed, one by CTE's drummer and one by TiJ's drummer. Saw over 16 bands in one day and damn, it really was the Best Day Ever. This really kick started my interest in playing music again and it has left me with a goal. The goal? I will play at Warped Tour one day.
